Just flew back home today.food is not good same thing every day.arrived to a room I was given and it’s very dated and shower was broke and not worth the money I spent.aslo took me half hour to find it as I wasn’t given any useful directions.the sandy beach and clear sea is beautiful and makes up for it.most of the staff are very nice but a few struggle to raise a smile ie a young waitress on Luna side at 24 snack bar at breakfast, mares pool and evening entertainment is good but short.on my last day I woke up to no water as there was a problem with water at the hotel so I couldn’t have a shower or flush loo, disappointing end to a holiday, mixed feeling.must say Cuba is a beautiful country and very laid back.internet is poor and internet area is ruined by the coffee machine sounding like a train

please read the revie did not realised how honest these review were until I stayed at this hotel. I have travelled all over the world stayed at many hotels and I had to write this review. This hotel is not fit for human beings, its, dirty, the food is repeated and no choice or taste. I just don't know where to start. The hotel is massive and your given a leaflet with direction and left on your own to find the dump that is assign to you. The rooms are completed outdated, I have seen 3 rats in the hotel, we had to move from the ground floor and was given a room in the reception area. It took us 5 viewings of room before we settled for a half decent room. I really cant express my disappointment having spend £1000 for a week without any enjoyment. The best part of my holiday was the beach. The drinks are all weak and no favour to them. What got me was the dinning hall chairs were full of stains all of them dirty. OMG the place is defro a NO NO. Everyone has their opinion and I really wish I took time out and followed other people review when there said NO NO NO. I seen passing water in the pool as there is a swim up bar.I really didn't realised how bad it was until I see people leaving the next day and booking into other hotel. I have just got back and I will always trust the reviews. GOOD LUCK if your going there.ws and do not go to this hotel. Thcannot find anything good to say, met a few nice staff but that's it. Reception did not care as there heard the same complaint over and over. The pool is never clean, customers are Tomas cook should no better

3rd visit and just as good as the last two.Yes they're in the middle of a refurb but it's not noisy. Staff are excellent (all of them).Beach perfect.Food ok for all inclusive.Entertainment good and avoidable if you want some quiet.Day trips were well organised.Weekends were a little bit chaotic as residents from some different countries were staying and they had no manners or respect for other guests. Not really for groups of young travellers or those that want all night entertainment. On that note we're going back again!

Recently returned from our third stay at this hotel. Already thinking of booking our fourth visit. Such an enjoyable atmosphere. A fabulous beach and crystal clear water, what can you not like?? A special thank you to YANET at the Luna bar. (we call her Ruby, because she looks like Ruby Wax) what a lovely person. Also Ernesto the new entertanments manager, a truly nice man. Finally Lina in customer services and Erly the thomas cook rep. really nice genuine people. This makes for a good holiday. O.K. a couple of things need refurbihing (mainly Nina and Pinta toilet blocks), but improvements have been made and more are planned. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Some parts of the hotel were nice, other parts are in need of a make over. The food in the a la carte restaurants was good but the buffet wasn't as good with not much vegetarian choice. Our room was the biggest disappointment, there was flaking paint on the ceiling where big damp patches had been painted over & the room was in a poor state badly in need of decoration, on entering the room smelt of stale cigarette smoke. If we could have gone home there & then we would have. The maid Elaine kept the room clean. the umbrella & iron were missing. This hotel was advertised as a 4 star, in my opinion this is not a correct rating, we will not be returning to this hotel or Cuba again. The staff at the hotel gave excellent service and were first class, there friendliness was was a great asset to the hotel. The spa and yoga and tai chi with Fernando deserve a special mention and the entertainment was ok. My sat nav was confiscated at the airport & I had to pay 28 pesos to get it back. Before we left. All in all this holiday did not even begin to compare with previous holidays we have had with Thomas Cook, very disappointed.
