August sees the Star Princess set sail on a seven night cruise, stopping in the Alaskan ports of Juneau and Skagway and passing down the breath-taking Tracy Arm Fjord before stopping in Ketchikan. After taking in such historical sights as the Saxman Totem Park and the White pass scenic railroad The Sea princess heads to the Canadian city of Victoria, one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest where passengers can visit the Butchart Gardens and Mt Tolmie.

For those craving some warmth in a tropical paradise come October, The Star Princess begins a season of cruises to the Hawaiian Islands. Setting sail from Los Angeles, she embarks on a 15-night cruise, stopping at the Hawaiian islands of Honolulu, Nawiliwili, Lahaina and Hilo before spending five days at sea. Before heading back to her home in Tinsel Town, she visits the Mexican costal city of Ensenada, allowing passengers to explore the Baja Peninsula and La Bufadora Blowhole, before going whale watching.

The Star Princess is a great choice for holidaymakers looking to explore the stunning natural beauty of North America, or simply to enjoy a taste of paradise in Hawaii. And with so much to see and do onboard, this magnificent ship is a destination all of her own.

The ship's public rooms are designed around the centrally located three-story piazza and offer intimate environments for passengers gather and socialise. With comfortable surroundings and tranquil venues such as The Sanctuary, adults looking to relax and rejuvenate will find it hard to leave and the piazza-style atrium. Passengers aboard the Sea Princess are spoilt for choice when it comes to evening entertainment. The Princess Theatre showcases excellent American style production shows and films and the Vista Lounge features guest artists and cabaret, whilst the Explorer Lounge offers up a lively mix of music, quiz games and karaoke. Children are well catered for aboard the Star Princess, as there is a fully supervised children's centre for 3-17 year olds, including a dollhouse, play area and splash pool for the younger ones. Meanwhile young adults can enjoy a computer and video games room and a number of teen discos.

Like many of the other ships in Princess’s fleet, all cabins are decorated with the upmost taste and painted mostly in white, giving an extremely light and airy feel, with eighty per cent of outside cabins possessing a balcony. Bathrooms have good storage and contain the amenities one expects on a luxury cruise - from plush bathrobes to pampering toiletries. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2.3 passengers, ensuring there is always be a helping hand at every turn.

The Sea Princess offers plenty of dining options to suit all appetites. The Amalfi, Capri and Portofino are the traditionally styled dining rooms on board. For those accustomed to more established cruise dining routines, The Amalfi operates set dining times and tablemates, whereas Capri and Portofino operate the popular, open seating and personal choice routine. Dress code is casual and comfortable during the day, semi formal during most evening and special occasions require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
