Why choose MSC Divina?

The ship's European flavour is reflected in its décor and in the endless supply of fabulous cuisine on this giant of the seas, which attracts a mixed clientele of all ages and nationalities.

Destinations and Itineraries

The Divina cruises the waters of the Mediterranean, with every cruise lasting eight days with seven nights on board. Art, architecture, history, culture and holiday hotspots are all on offer on tours of Italy, Greece, Croatia and Turkey. Setting off from Bari, Venice or Istanbul, typically cruises make five stops, calling at the Croatian seaport of Dubrovnik, the romantic city of Venice, the Greek port of Katakolon, and the Turkish port of Izmir, making Ephesus within easy reach as well as Istanbul.

As winter draws near, the MSC Divina heads across the Atlantic, and passengers can pick up the ship at Miami for a cruise among the islands of the Caribbean and the Antilles. This 10 night cruise makes five stops including a private island in the Bahamas, Puerto Rio, St Maarten in the Leeward Islands and then back to Florida.

Miami becomes the ship's new home for a series of Caribbean voyages that last between nine and sixteen days, which can also take in the Cayman Islands, the Mexican island of Cozumel, and Falmouth in Jamaica. As April arrives the ship heads back to Europe, offering a change of a 19-day transatlantic voyage, making a final call at San Juan in Puerto Rico, St Maarten in the Leeward Islands, Grenada and then six days at sea before arriving at the Portuguese island of Madeira. Another day at sea follows before the ship reaches port at Malta before its final destination, Venice.

With such a comprehensive selection of on board entertainment and dining options, it's no wonder that the MSC Divina attracts passengers of all ages and nationalities. Combined with a great selection of cruising itineraries, it’s a great choice no matter what’s on your cruising wish list.

On Board

Built only last year, the MSC Divina has embraced state of the art technology, not just in passenger comfort but in its environmental credentials, making it one of the most efficient and green ships on the seas. At full capacity the ship can carry 4,100 passengers. In addition to the 1,370 Italian crew members, this creates a ratio of one crew member to every three passengers. For the active there is a fitness centre, jogging track, tennis court, a golf simulator and mini golf. Those seeking more sedate distraction can try the sauna or beauty salon with treatment rooms. If even that sounds too exhausting, there's enough deck space to work on a suntan!

Staterooms

There are 1,800 cabins on board and a very high proportion of these have balconies. There are a further 85 cabins with a sea view and all are of a good size with flat screen TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning, radio and 24-hour room service. All bathrooms have showers. The Yacht club suites at the top deck of the ship have VIP butler service and include a seating area and a bath. There is an abundance of on board sports and leisure facilities on the Divina. There's plenty of opportunity to get wet with no less than four swimming pools on deck, one with a sliding glass roof, and one indoor pool. There are 12 jacuzzis and an aqua park which boasts 150 fountains and sprays.

Dining

There are two main restaurants on board which are spread out over two decks. Passengers are usually allocated one of two sittings and both restaurants are non-smoking. Alternative dining options include TexMex with an open kitchen, a French a la carte restaurant, a pizzeria, a wine bar and a cafeteria. All offer good food and service.
