Taking the term ‘Turkish bath’ to a whole new level, Turkey has put its heart and soul into creating some amazing spaces for you and your family to splash out in style. Here’s our top ten Turkey waterparks
Award-winning Aqua Fantasy, in Selcuk, boasts an incredible 31 slides, a wave pool with seven types of wave, Treasure Island complete with pirate ship, Crazy Rafts, and a Blue Lagoon for when you need to relax. There’s even a child-free pool, if you fancy a spot of peace and quiet.
The Land of Legends Theme Park
On the Mediterranean coast, Land of Legends Theme Park is fast becoming a legend among waterparks in Turkey. Combining umpteen slides, wave pools, Aqua Disco, and a fabulous adventure park, there really is something for everyone, including a baby pool and an infinity pool.
The biggest waterpark in Marmaris, Atlantis has plenty to keep the family entertained. As well as super slides and wave pools, you’ll find mini-golf and a private beach. There’s a dedicated area for little ones and plenty of options for food and drink, making it a memorable day out for everyone.
Aska Lara Resort
Aska Lara in Antalya is a little different to other Turkey waterparks. The usual slides and pools are here, but you’ll find extras like Cowboy Land, sports facilities, a children’s club and a beautiful spa. It’s in a resort complex, so only available for hotel guests, but it’s such a special place we think it deserves a spot in our top ten.
Olu Deniz Waterpark
Full of chances for twisty turny fun, Olu Deniz Waterpark is a great place for a day splashing in wave pools, scaring yourself silly on water slides and enjoying special time with family or friends. There’s reasonably priced food and drink too, so there’s everything you need for a great day out.
Tortuga Pirate Island Kusadasi
Oodles of slides, inflatables and a mini club make this is one of the many waterparks in Turkey that is wonderful for children of all ages. They’ve thought about the adults too, providing plenty of sunbeds and cabanas along with a choice of restaurants.
Who doesn’t love dinosaurs? Dinopark has created a fabulous space with dinosaur tours, planetariums and climbing walls. The waterpark is low key; think inflatable boats and pool games rather than slides and rapids, but it’s a great day out if you’re looking for something a bit different.
Set on the Mediterranean coast, Waterplanet has 24 slides, including ones dedicated to families, as well as fun rafting and tubing activities.
Yali Castle Aquapark
Designed around a castle theme, this waterpark has plenty of slides to suit all ages, as well as whirlpools, sunbeds and a gorgeous private beach.
Oasis Aquapark Izmir
Serpent slides and sumo wrestling, Oasis Aquapark pulls no punches when it comes to making sure everyone has a great day out. There’s loads for adults and children, including foam parties, archery and a wave pool. With plenty of space to enjoy the sun and fun, it’s one of our favourite Turkey waterparks.
