Fancy a faster, more adrenaline-fuelled way to get around? Hire a motorbike and head out on the open road, but be sure to follow all the safety information!
Food, wine and a perfect day
Once you’ve ridden off into the sunset, stop off at a local tapas bar and enjoy a little bit of everything, from garlic prawns to the ever popular, patatas bravas. Sa Caleta in Cala Millor offers up some really tasty paella, so give it a try if you’re staying on the east side of the island.
Wash down your meal with a visit to a traditional winery, where you can try a fragrant range of Spanish wine. Bodega Ribas is the oldest winery on the island so is surely worth a visit. The 100 acres of vineyards include some rare grape varieties that were previously on the verge of extinction, but make sure you give them a call as a visit is by appointment only.
After you’ve finished exploring, you’ll need a place to stay that matches up to Majorca’s beautiful setting. The SENTIDO Mallorca Palace is within walking distance of the beach, has a lovely pool, and can even Choose Your Room before you go.
