If your holidays are all about making big splashes and unforgettable memories in the sun, then what more could you possibly want than a hotel that features an incredible waterpark for the kids (and big kids) to enjoy? Our Aquamania resorts provide endless hours of fun for all the family. So whether you’ve got little ones looking for entertaining slides and activities or thrill-seeking teens and parents wanting extreme rides and the ultimate rush; there’s bound to be a hotel that’s right for you. Take a look below at three of my favourite Aquamania hotels around Europe and prepare to have the wettest and wildest time of your life!
1) Royal Wings Hotel – Antalya, Turkey
Situated in beautifully landscaped gardens in Lara Beach, the Royal Wings Hotel is the ideal place to spend your Turkey holiday. Here, you’ll have hours of fun whooshing down all the water slides and splashing about in the hotel’s many pools. As well as the slides, there’s a wave pool and everyone’s favourite; a lazy river. The pool area itself is a massive 4672m² and is the largest in the Lara Beach region, giving this waterpark the real wow factor.
2) Caretta Beach – Kalamaki, Zante
Caretta Beach is one of our most popular family hotels, and it’s easy to see why. With five outdoor swimming pools, six adventure slides, six kids’ slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and two whirlpools, you’ll want to return year after year. It’s everything that you could possibly want for a fantastic family holiday. Not only is Caretta Beach great for kids, but with the on-site Thomas Cook Kids’ Club, it means you can relax and enjoy every minute too.
3) Paradise Island – Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Your little monsters will love Paradise Island, especially as it’s got an on-site dinosaur-themed waterpark; to name just one of the excellent family-friendly facilities. There are seven slides for the adults and four for kids, as well as a crazy river and a kids’ splash pool. And for those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on dry land, there’s a playground and go-karts too. And what’s more? It’s close to the resort centre and has a courtesy bus transfer to the beach.
