Things to do

The clear, calm and warm Red Sea of Egypt gives Hurghada some of the most vibrant and colourful marine life found anywhere in the world. Just metres off the shore you can experience sea turtles, lion fish, clown fish and puffer fish, just to name a few. Spend your evenings relaxing on the beach with an ice cold drink as you watch the sun fall beneath the palm trees. What could be better?

Hurghada not only offers great beaches, but also great shopping. Get your retail therapy fix at the fantastic Senzo Mall. The Red Sea’s largest shopping mall is home to an array of international brands, high street stores and locally owned boutiques, plus you can excite your taste buds with traditional Egyptian food served here.

Egypt's history

Go back in time and discover what Egypt was like thousands of years ago, with a trip to the ancient city of Luxor. Head to the famous Valley of the Kings and see the preserved kingdom of the pharaohs. Try understanding the hieroglyphic drawings that paint the tomb walls here, and begin to feel what it was like for Tutankhamun to rule Egypt all those years ago.

Cruise down the River Nile from Luxor to take in the sights and surroundings; a great chance for you to take photos of Egypt and see places that most others haven’t seen before. From the ancient tombs of the pharaohs to the world’s second longest river, Luxor has something fascinating to show you and is definitely worth the trip from Hurghada.
