Transfers
Unless you are going to stay in an airport hotel, arriving at the airport is not the end of the journey to your holiday destination. You still need to get to the resort or city where your accommodation is located - this is where transfers come in.
What are transfers?
Transfers are the pre-arranged transport that will take you from the arrival airport to your
holiday resort. Usually this means a coach or minibus (unless otherwise specified on your
invoice) that does the rounds of various resorts and accommodation within the area, so be aware
that you may not be transported directly to your accommodation.
However, if you would prefer to go straight to your accommodation, at certain properties there
is the option to pre-book a private taxi transfer for up to 4 people (3 people in certain
resorts). Since this is a direct transfer, it could mean that you have more time to spend on
the beach....or in bed (depending on when you arrive!).
If you are travelling independently, you can choose to transfer to your accommodation on either
public transport, via public taxi or you could even transfer yourself in a hire car. If this is

Are transfers included in the price of my holiday?
Transfers are included in package holidays booked in advance on thomascook.com. However,
transfers are optional features on most holiday deals. Having said this, all late holidays
booked 4 days or less before departure will include mandatory transfers.
For some more remote holiday destinations, car hire may be included in your package instead of
a pre-booked transfer. Check your holiday details for more information.
Since we know that ideas about a holiday can change over time, it is possible to change your
mind and decide to include/exclude transfers in your holiday package, as long as you arrange it
with us at least 4 days before departure.

Taxis can be in short supply at some airports (and the queues can be large!), so if you are planning on taking a public taxi to your accommodation, it's a good idea to consider booking one in advance.
