Rated 5 out of 5 by Philsunderland Well worth a visit
Just returned from the Monika Hotel, excellent hotel have a choice to stay in the complex or visit any of the hotels in the chain with a free bus running during the day, we visited two of the other hotels with full us of the facilities.
The hotel is only occupied by british and spanish holiday makers whilst we were there and was very quiet after 12.30 on a night which is very good no shouting what you usually get in a htel of this size.
the layout of the hotel is very good as well in reality there are only 4 rooms per floor and this reduces the noise from the other guests

Rated 3 out of 5 not bad for the time of the year
Whilst we were there it was the Spanish holidays. We found that sometimes they could be a little rude and inpatient. But generally the holdiay was not to bad.

Recently stayed at the Magic Aqua Monika Holidays close to Benidorm. Great size room, with a large balcony over-looking the bar/show area (did get a bit loud at night but most things finished by 12am).
The food was okay, did get a bit repetitive after 7 days but it was well cooked, presented well, the kids selection was a bit sparse though, hot dogs or burgers every day.
The pool area was fantastic for my daughter (5yrs) and was guarded by at least two life guards at all times and the outside pool restaurant/bar area was really nice.
Situated far enough from Benidorm to not get the hassle of hen/stag parties etc but the hotel run's a free bus service to it's sister hotel's in Benidorm which we used and made a day of visiting the market and seeing the Benidorm sights.
Nice beach about an 8 minute walk away, small so could get a bit crowded but peacefully enough to enjoy a couples of hour building sandcastles.
The hotel was a mix of Spanish and English, all the activities were done in both languages so never felt missed out.
Children's entertainment and nightly show's were good as well as various daily activities such as archery, bowling etc.
Nice hotel and would stay again.

i love this place. been 2 years on the run. swimming pool is brill. just built 2 new water slides. and there is no fighting for sun beds. mainly spanish people with a few english. food is excellent in the resturant, choice of anything for breakfast from full english ,fruit and yogurt or just cereal. they even had a little place for kids food if they didnt like what the adults were having . not far from the small quiet beach of cala finestrat. the only down side was the bed in the living room you just fell through and it was hard as a rock, but they did say the place was being done up in the winter.night life: if you didnt want to sit with the locals outside in the open stage area there was an english bar at the reception with a karaoke. the only thing that bugged me while i was there was how many spanish people were smoking where they shouldnt, they just didnt care .
