A group holiday to Kos offers a modern and bustling holiday island with ancient history and a great selection of beaches.

The capital of Kos, Kos Town, is perfect for those who like to sunbathe on the beach by day and at night enjoy the atmosphere of the many bars, restaurants and clubs that nestle round its harbour. The town’s sights include two mosques, a medieval castle and ancient remains, most notably the Asklepion. It is one of the most famous shrines, dedicated to the god of healing Asclepius.

Kos Town’s main beach is lined with loungers and umbrellas, and there are plenty of tavernas and snack bars nearby. It is also close to the nightclubs and water sports facilities, as well as the shops.

Kos town has a wide variety of restaurants to suit all tastes. Argonavtis Restaurant located on the side of the beach retains a traditional Greek, family run atmosphere and serves both Greek and international meals. For a more laid-back meal try La Strega Restaurant which serves the best Kleftico (meat and vegetables dish) in town.

Kardamena is the second-largest resort on Kos. It is very popular for young group holidays all over Europe with its abundance of bars, discos and clubs.
