Group holidays Alcudia

Alcudia holidays enjoy a very privileged position indeed, with outstanding beaches close to stunning coastal scenery ideal for large group holidays. Lively in high season and relaxing in low season, this cosmopolitan resort's main attraction is undoubtedly the 7 mile stretch of sand, which is one of the longest on the island. There is also a wealth of fine restaurants, cafes, bars and shops and a nearby waterpark for the children.

Nightlife is plentiful with a wide selection of bars and discos. The Drunken Duck and the Festa’s Bar are the most popular places for nightly entertainment along with Menta, Alcudia’s biggest nightclub. Modelled on a Roman temple, with an indoor heated swimming pool, plus two DJs and seven bars, it’s the ideal place for a night out on a young group holiday.

For those who love history and culture, the remains of the Roman city of Pollentia (‘power’), the Teatre Romà and Ciutat Romà de Pollentia, where Roman houses can be seen, are an absolute must. S’Albufera, a wetland reserve between Ca’n Picafort and Port d’Alcúdia is an important breeding place for native and migratory birds and is a very exciting landmark for nature admirers.

The Port of Alcudia is partially pedestrianised and shopping in the port is ideal for everyone, with shops offering cheap duty free goods. Alcudia is the perfect destination for those who enjoy sociable evenings (which never get too crowded) and long, leisurely days on the beach.
