Summer holidays Lanzarote

A dramatic, volcanic outcrop less than a hundred miles from the North African coastline, Lanzarote feels out-of-this-world. It offers its legion of fans something a little different - an island holiday which gives you the romance and drama of a desert island, but the comfort and convenience of a modern summer holiday destination.

For such a small island, summer holidays in Lanzarote can be remarkably diverse: with world class dining, friendly family-run bars, fascinating musuems and much more. Clustered around the coast, you'll have plenty of chances for some watersports - whether windsurfing, scuba diving or sport fishing is your thing, holidays in Lanzarote won't disappoint.

Canarian fare is delicious. Local specialities include toasted maize with cheese and olives, grilled fish served with spicy mojo sauce, and even goat casserole. Spanish tapas are popular, too.

And don't forget that this beautiful island enjoys 'duty free' status, making cheap holidays to Lanzarote even better value. The malls and souvenir stalls of Puerto del Carmen feature delicate island crafts, striking jewellery and fiery mojo sauces to take home.

Stunning natural landscapes, subtle, high-rise-free resorts and world-class beaches. Summer holidays to Lanzarote offer an explosive combination of attractions, teamed with excellent accommodation at great value for money.
