Kos is a part of the Dodecanese, a group of Greek islands that lie just off the Turkish mainland. It is a perfect package holiday destination – with plenty of sunshine, great beaches and abundance of historical places.

The islands’ beaches are some of the safest and cleanest in Europe. The bay of Tingaki boasts a white sandy beach; Paradise Beach, between Kardamena and Kefalos, is breathtakingly beautiful, with fine golden sand and lovely shallow waters. Kos Town is the capital of Kos - an attractive and lively port, with shady tree-lined avenues and lush green spaces brightened by lilac, jasmine and hibiscus. The town’s sights include two mosques, a medieval castle and ancient remains, most notably the Asclepion. It is one of the most famous shrines, dedicated to the god of healing Asclepius.

Kos nightlife is intense with many bars, restaurants and clubs that nestle round the harbour. Charisma, near the entrance of bar street, is a popular haunt for locals and tourists who want to party the night away. Head to Saloon Tex to strut your funky stuff with music varying from club classics, funky house, R & B to hip hop.

Lampi is popular for its soft, golden sands and good conditions for water-sports. The town has a selection of good bars and restaurants, and is within easy reach of Kos Town for those who want to dance all night.
