The drive from Bizerte to one of Tunisia’s national parks makes for an unusual outing. Set on the shores of Lac Ichkeul, below Jebel Ichkeul, this national park is a haven for fish, wildlife and above all, birds, and is also the most important bird and wildlife sanctuary in North Africa.
