Beach holidays Kos

The island of Kos is located just off the Turkish mainland and is part of the Dodecanese Islands. It boasts some of the cleanest beaches in Europe, making it an ideal destination for your beach holidays.

Tingaki bay has a white sandy beach that shelves gently into the blue seas of the Aegean. Nearby tavernas provide a great spot for a refreshing drink or Greek salad.

Paradise Beach is breathtakingly beautiful, with fine golden sand, lovely shallow waters and a range of watersports to enjoy on your Kos beach holiday. The best places for watersports on the island are Kardamena and the nearby beaches along Kefalos Bay, with excellent facilities for windsurfing, snorkelling and bananaboats.

The capital of Kos Island is an attractive and lively port, with shaded tree-lined avenues. Kos Town’s sights include two mosques, a medieval castle and ancient remains; most notably the Asklepion, which is said to be Europe’s oldest health resort.

Kos Town’s main beach is lined with loungers and umbrellas, and there are plenty of tavernas and snack bars nearby. It is also close to the nightclubs and the shops. The nearby resorts of Lambi and Psalidi are also worth visiting. Watersports are available on all three beaches.

Lampi is popular for its soft, golden sands and good conditions for water-sports. The town has a selection of good bars and restaurants, and is within easy reach of Kos Town for those who want to dance all night.
