Portugal has clear skies, beautiful beaches and endless sunshine, making it an attractive destination for beach holidays. From the alluring landscape to welcoming local residents, you’ll find it easy to relax and enjoy free time at your own pace. Along the coast, well-established resorts sit alongside excellent hotels and apartments.

If you're looking for activities to take part in whilst on your beach holiday, there are plenty of opportunities to play tennis or golf. Portugal is one of Europe’s premier golfing destinations and the tennis schools are second-to-none. From surfing, to windsurfing, snorkelling, diving, canoeing, kayaking and scuba diving, there’s also an abundance of watersports to take part in during your beach holiday.

Holidays in Portugal provide scintillating and colourful nightlife. Don't miss listening to the local Fado folk music in one of the traditional tavernas. In the summer, you'll come across numerous country fairs, where old folk traditions are lovingly re-enacted and local wares are sold.

Fish and seafood are very popular in Portugal, thanks to its vast stretch of coastline. You can try everything from exotic squid and shellfish, to fish stew, or cataplana, or a simple grilled fish dish.

Portual beach holidays offer great value, fabulous coastline and a climate that's hard to beat.
