Beach holidays Greece

Steeped in remarkable ancient relics and remains, reminders of Greece’s illustrious and rich past can be seen throughout the country. Crumbling columns or ancient structures can be found everywhere from the middle of the sleepiest countryside to the centre of the busiest city.

Greek countryside varies throughout the country. From lush greenery to impressive mountains, to sun-baked rocks. But Greece's crowning glory are its beaches. With more coastline that any other country in Europe, Greece is simply a perfect beach holiday destination.

In Zante you can admire secluded coves and endless swaths of soft white sand. Corfu is one of the most beautiful of the Greek islands, with great nightlife and gorgeous sandy beaches which are among the best in the Mediterranean. Crete is an exciting sunshine destination, where you will enjoy a warm welcome on the largest and most southerly of the Greek islands. Santorini will bring you to a cosmopolitan Greek island, with many sleepy villages to relax in, as well as some surprisingly lively beach resorts, which is ideal if you like a holiday with lots of choice and beautiful surroundings.

You won’t be disappointed by Greek cuisine, which uses the freshest ingredients to produce nourishing and tasty dishes. The feta cheese, olives, dolmades, red grape wine and anise-flavored aperitif ouzo can be found in every taverna.
