Being relatively small, Kos provides a great selection of beaches. Tingaki bay boasts a white sandy beach, while Paradise Beach, between Kardamena and Kefalos, is a breathtakingly beautiful beach, with fine golden sand, lovely shallow waters and a range of water sports.

Despite the abundance of history, Kos is also a modern, bustling, holiday isle. In Kos Town you will find excellent nightlife, funky drinking spots, lots of watersports, many al fresco restaurants, and innumerable cosy hotels, all co-existing alongside the timeless temples, the whitewashed churches, the Castle of the Knights of St John, and the lovely trellises of the Byzantine houses. Greek cuisine is wonderful and is best experienced in a little tavern on a summer’s evening, whilst sipping a glass of local wine.

Bodrum

Bodrum’s narrow streets play host to an enjoyable medley of shops that sell everything from leatherware, cotton goods and natural sponges through to gold and glass beads, making it an ideal holiday spot for shoppers.

Lampi is popular for its soft, golden sands and good conditions for water-sports. The town has a selection of good bars and restaurants, and is within easy reach of Kos Town for those who want to dance all night.

Palio Pylion

Palio Pylion is located in Kos, one of the Dodecanese islands. A cluster of islands in the south east of the Aegean near to Turkey, they offer a combination of charming Greek villages and beautiful coastlines.

Agios Fokas

Agios Fokas is a quiet, undeveloped resort that stretches along the southern coast of the island. There are a handful of good fish restaurants around the harbour and some ruins that date back to the first century BC.

Located on the northern coast of Rhodes, Paradeisi is a picturesque and bubbly town. It was named after its exotic gardens, which were originally planted by Arab settlers.
