Estepona Holidays

Located in Malaga in the hugely popular Costa del Sol, Estepona is a small coastal town that has remained typically Andalucian despite its popularity as a tourist destination.

The area is stretched across a selection of beaches ranging from sheltered coves to rocky coastlines to semi-urban beaches. The main beach, Playa La Rada, extends for 2.6km and is backed by a modern promenade lined with beach-bars and seafood restaurants. There is a water-sports centre and sports club, as well as an array of boat trips and fishing excursions, ideal to keep active holidaymakers busy. Similarly, for those who tire of the beach, there is a local golf course, a challenging loop set in a lush valley, and some beautiful parks nearby.

A jumble of steep, cobbled streets, leafy plazas, terraced cafes and tapas bars, Estepona is overflowing with character and offers a slice of typical Spanish culture. Restaurants serve traditional tapas delicacies and bodegas sell local specialities. The marina is also always busy. It is home to a popular market every Sunday and in the evenings late-night bars and discos keep it lively until the early hours. There are also several sites well-worth visiting within the town. As well as the museums and art galleries, there are some beautiful old churches and some fascinating archaeological ruins.
