Volcanic Ash Updates

Updated 18.00 UK Local Time 25 May 2010

Thomas Cook UK & Ireland is now operating its normal flight and holiday programme following the recent impact of volcanic ash from Iceland which affected the airspace across the UK.

All customers should travel to their UK departure airport and check in as normal. Those overseas should keep in touch with their Thomas Cook representatives for the latest information on flights.

We continue to monitor the situation, working closely with National Air Traffic Services and UK airports and we will continue to update our website with any new information (www.thomascook.com).

Latest Thailand Information

Updated 18.00 UK Local Time 25 May 2010

Following the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) updating its advice against all but essential travel to Thailand, we are working closely with the FCO and Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) to review the situation as it evolves and will continue to update customers accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE
- For up to date information, customers should continue to monitor this page of our website

- Customers due to travel to
Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Pattaya up to Monday 31st May can cancel or amend subject to availability and additional costs.

- Customers visiting Thailand for transit purposes to an onward destination outside of Thailand will not be affected and should continue to the airport as scheduled.

- Flight only customers still wishing to travel can do so, but in line with the FCO advice we are strongly advising against this and notifying customers that their insurance will be invalid if they do still choose to travel.

In line with FCO recommendations, customers in resort are currently not being moved but are being contacted by Thomas Cook to advise them of the situation and to ensure they have the necessary contact numbers (as below)
