Getting Around

By hire car: Hire a car to get the most out of your trip to Florida. Be aware that you will come across numerous toll booths during your stay.

By trolley bus: The I-Drive trolley bus is a convenient way to get around International Drive and its many shops, restaurants and attractions.

By resort bus: If you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can access free buses that will take you to all of the Disney parks.


For yachters:The Miami International Boat Show is one of the biggest annual events in Florida, attracting around 3,000 boats every February. Mingle with Miami’s most glamorous citizens as you admire everything from powerboats to luxurious yachts.

High speed: Taking place early in the year is the Daytona 500, the most popular motor race in America.

Halloween: In October, Walt Disney World Resort holds kid-friendly Halloween parties with spooky parades and spectacular fireworks.

Santa visits Florida: Christmas is an extra special time at Disney’s Magic Kingdom®. Wander down snow-speckled Main Street USA to the sounds of festive music and keep an eye out for Mickey Mouse dressed as Santa!
