The world's biggest Winter Carnival will be back in 2010 in Quebec. It has a multitude of events for all the family; fall under the spell of the warm welcome of Quebec and have some winter fun.

13-16 February 2010
The whole of Brazil shuts down for the 4 days (and nights!) of this carnival, thead to the streets of Rio for dancing and singing in the streets in an explosion of colour and amazing costmes.

30 April 2010
Amsterdam Queen's Day, has over a million people taking to the streets to celebrate the Queen's birthday with dancing, parades and street theatre. The street party is internationally-renowned and full of family entertainment.

A once in a lifetime event the Monaco Grand Prix takes over this historic and wealthy prinicipality. The prestige highlight of the Formula 1 season makes the perfect excuse for a city break to Monte Carlo.

Verona's world-famous Opera Festival offers the following performances in July Aida, Carmen, Turandot, Madama Butterfly and Il Trovatore, performed in the wonderful open air Arena di Verona.

August 2010
Every August Zante Town hosts an impressive two-week carnival. Expect parades, dancing, lots of colourful floats from all over the island and some cheese eating - a mainstay of the Greek Carnival experience!

October 2010
The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival/Moon Festival in Hong Kong starts in the first week of October, in the evening. Paper lanterns, moon cakes, present swapping and families getting together all help to celebrate the Moon appearing at its best shape.
