The world's biggest Winter Carnival will be back in 2010 in Quebec. It has a multitude of events for all the family;
fall under the spell of the warm welcome of Quebec and have some winter fun.

The whole of Brazil shuts down for the 4 days (and nights!)
of this carnival, thead to the streets of Rio for dancing and singing in the streets in an
explosion of colour and amazing costmes.

Up to 700,000 revellers join the Irish to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Take a city break to Dublin and join in the huge five day festival along
with all manner of perfomers, funfairs, floats and parades.

Amsterdam Queen's Day, has over a million
people taking to the streets to celebrate the Queen's birthday with dancing, parades and street
theatre. The street party is internationally-renowned and full of family entertainment.

One of the biggest events in Spain is on 23 June, San Juan's Day. Enjoy huge fiestas complete with bonfires and fireworks. If you're staying on a Spanish costa (such as the Costa del Sol), there's a tradition of taking a midnight swim.
