Activities at The Anastasia, Halkidiki

The morning flat water conditions offer the perfect opportunity to try waterskiing and wakeboarding. Later on the local winds are good for beginner and intermediate windsurfers and dinghy sailors to get on the water, leaving experts to limber up in our fitball or stretch classes. You can also join our 4 day Introduction to Yachting course** or go on a diving or snorkelling excursion with our PADI 5 star Instructor Development Dive Centre.

Explore Halkidiki

The diversity of Halkidiki's landscape and history gives each of its 3 peninsulas distinctive characteristics. Kassandra, home of The Anastasia, offers superb variety, with idyllic beaches and important archaeology. Sithonia, the adjacent peninsula, displays beauty in its villages and rocky coastline, whilst the third, Mount Athos remains a religious haven where monks still dwell in the Byzantine monasteries. Only men are allowed to visit this area and numbers are regulated.

Nea Skioni is the nearest local village to The Anastasia. It is a typical picturesque Greek village with winding streets and a quayside lined with wooden fishing boats. It can be reached by a 40 minute walk, short bike ride or taxi journey. On non-inclusive evenings we operate a shuttle bus into the village (small charge).
