Paris Attraction Tickets

Paris means many things to many people: the romantic city of love, bohemian haven for the arts, haute couture fashion capital of the world, hip city with pumping nightlife (especially on a Paris New Year break). However you feel about this enchanting city, there are plenty of Paris attractions on offer to keep you amused on a short city break or longer holiday. See below for some of the most popular Paris tours, attractions and day trips, or click on any link to browse for more.

Paris City Tours

Paris, France

Paris covers a large area and even the main sights in the centre of the city are quite spread out, so save your legs and book a Paris city tour. Not only will you be transported easily and comfortably between world-famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvres Museum, Trocadero, Arc de Triomphe, Opera and Notre Dame cathedral, but you'll also learn all about the history of Paris and its most famous sights. The Paris tours available range from 2 hours to full days and some even include lunch and/or a cruise on the Seine.

Seine Cruises

What could be more romantic than cruising down the Seine on a luxurious river liner as dusk sets over this beautiful city? If you’re looking for ideas on how to propose, this has to rank up there with the best. As you cruise along you’ll pass magnificent sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and Musée d'Orsay, each lit up against the night sky. If that doesn't win you some brownie points, nothing will! Alternatively, why not take a Seine cruise in the day and enjoy the fantastic photographic opportunities as you sail past.

Eiffel Tower Dinner and Seine Cruise

Eiffel Tower and Seine by Night, Paris

For an evening not to be forgotten choose the Eiffel Tower dinner and Seine cruise. You'll start the adventure by being whisked up to the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower, where you'll have dinner (wine included) at the Altitude 95 restaurant, whose airship-inspired décor takes you back to the time when the tower was built. After admiring the spectacular views across Paris you'll head back down to ground level and join your ship for the Seine cruise. As night begins to fall, the top Paris attractions will light up one by one – truly romantic.

Moulin Rouge Dinner Show

For a Parisian dinner with a difference head to the Moulin Rouge. Long established as the cabaret venue in Paris, it has more recently seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to the glitzy Hollywood film of the same name. And glitz is definitely the name of the game at the Moulin Rouge. With showgirls, entertainers and outlandish costumes galore, it truly is an iconic spectacle to behold. They’re bound to have you tapping your toes in the aisles, especially when it comes to the world-famous can can.

Versailles Tours

The magnificent Palace of Versailles is one of the top day trips from Paris. The court and government of the Kingdom of France from 1682, it remained in service until 1789 when the royal family was forced to abandon it during the French Revolution. The sheer scale of the residence is overwhelming, but you'll get a good idea of its opulence on a tour of the Royal Apartments. Make sure that you have enough time to visit the fantastic landscaped gardens though. Various Versailles tours are available, some including dinner or fountain shows.

Loire Valley Castles and Wine Tasting Tour

The Loire Valley vineyards are some of the most revered in the world, and justifiably so, as you’ll see when you get to sample some of their top wines. But that's not the only reason why the Loire Valley is so famous - it also has a host of magnificent castles, some of which were designed by Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci. On this tour you'll get to experience both of these attractions and you’re bound to return to Paris knowing why the rich and famous of the era chose to make this beautiful part of France their home.

D-Day Beaches and Normandy Tours

Another possible day tour from Paris takes you out to Normandy and the site of the D-Day landings. Constituting a turning point in the Second World War, D-Day was nonetheless a bloody and sobering event with great losses on both sides, so be prepared for some strong emotions. This tour takes in the excellent Caen Memorial museum which documents the history of the war in Normandy. You'll also visit Omaha Beach, where US troops disembarked on 6 June 1944. Like those that died, this is a trip that will never be forgotten.
