I have just returned from this resort it is the second time this year. I had a great holiday again. The only thing I would say that when I was there ion May the food was great and it was this tieme except for lunchtime when they seem to produce the same every day, I don't think they did this in May. There seemed to be plenty of stews even though it was still great. I think the entertainment could be a bit better and I have to say that the Rusians and Germans are so rude and greedy. The hotel I can't fault everything I requested I got I upgraded to club rooms and this was done even fruit put in our rooms. I do have one moan when we got to the airport, late at night it was chaos and only just got through in time we have no time for duty free. There was a desk open for quick check in which you had to pay for and no one was taking so eventually they had to open it for everyone. The rep at the hotel Herma is brilliant and so helpful. I am hoping to go back next year but it seems to be fully booked already and has gone up quite a bit in price. I have been to this hotel 3 times now. I would say that it should be in the brochure that if you book park rooms they are a way from the main hotel and restaurant and this should be pointed out to people as anyone with walking problems could have difficulty. I would also request the hotel to make sure the animals are cared for properly and given the correct food I did have to point this out and my request was seen to straight away. [more...]

Travelled in a group of six . . 2 adults 40+ and 4 teenagers ( 2 x 19yr olds, 16yr old 13yr old ) We found the Hotel to be very clean, rooms cleaned and towels chang ed daily, pool towels and sun beds free, activities great, branded drinks, and excellant choice of food, right on the beach with free pedalos and canoes as well as banana boat etc at extra charge . . we found the staff to be friendly and helpful and they really appreciate it if you put in the effort to get to know them . . only down side is nothing within reasonable walking distance if you like to go out and about . . not a problem though as dolmus outside hotel every ten mins approx. and plenty of taxi's, both of which will take you into main town. Thomson rep was really helpful too but doesn't try to push you into buying excursions - she has been the rep in this area for a few yrs and is more than happy to help with info. . . would return to this Hotel [more...]

Majesty Tuana is a real top notch hotel at bargain prices. Take the hotel speedboat into Fethiye on a Tuesday for the fantastic market. We visited Oludeniz beach, wh ich was lovely and went to the ghost village of Kayakoy. Unsure of spelling of that place but the point is it's a fascinating visit, although not suited to the less mobile (very steep steps and cobbles) on the hillside. The other trip we took was Fethiye by night where you are whisked around a gold centre, turkish delight factory and leather shop before being let loose for an hour and a half in the town centre. Did feel under a bit of pressure to part with cash on this excursion (which I duly did) but bit too much hard sell in the gold centre. Back to the hotel and it really is lovely. All inclusive meals are served throughout the day. The main bar is open 24hrs. Dont feel shy about asking them for a double (they dont mind) or if you want a cocktail which is not one of their pre made ones just ask. My partner discovered long island iced tea (5 spirits) in Fethiye and they were fine about making it back at the hotel (for free). Great holiday and lovely temperature in October (about 25 degrees). visited Majesty Tuana last year and enjoyed it so much that we booked again for this year. It was as enjoyable as last year if not better. We stayed In park 2 this t ime instead of park 1 and preferred it as the pool was nicer and there were not as many accommodation blocks. The Turkish restaurant was situated in park 2 and we visited it twice. The meal was excellent and it made a change from eating in the main restaurant. The staff work long hours but I found they always had a smile and cheery word from the maids, bar staff, animation team, restaurant staff,even the gardeners acknowleged you as you passed them. We never had a problem finding sun loungers but then we preferred not be round the main pool staying on the grass just at the back of it. All in all we had a great time and would not hesitate returning to Majesty Tuana. [more...]

I was recommended this resort by a friend who raved about it and I can honestly say It did not disapoint on any level. First of all the food, we never ate at any of the A-la-carte resturant as the food in the main buffet resturant was so good. A lot of the food stayed the same however there was always something different to try from Donner meat - chicken donner and steak really cant fault it at all. Secondly the hotel room and grounds - We had a club room with a big balcony the room was always clean (maids coming every day) big plus was having the air-con at night was so hot. The grounds were immaculate always being tended to everything looked really lush and green brilliantly kept. The pool areas where also brilliant, kids loved the little pool and I loved the big pool with pool bar which i got served at no problem at all. Last but not least the animation team - These guys and girls were truly outstanding and really made the holiday great, they always ask if you want to get involved but in no way hassel you if you dont want to. The entertainment during the day was really good at the pool side and the club song is so catchy still find myself humming it. Also the night time shows the animation team put on are very good as a family we especially found the comedy nights and there grease show were top class we really enjoyed them the kids even found them funny. The resort and people working there were really friendly and willing to help. Service was fanrtastic, we had a shower screen break and they fixed it within minutes o f reporting it. The resort was very clean and always being cleaned sepecially the toilets around resort. The variety of food was amazing and the chefs were absolutely brilliant. Drinks were great not the normal watered down beer that you get at majority of resorts. The entertainment team worked really hard to keep everyone occupied and the children. The resort was safe as you could let the children run around within reason. The only downside was the amount of food being wasted mainly by the Russians who would just takes loads on a plate, take a few bites and the rest would go in the bin. I think the Resort need to address this and so should the reps and advise people that you can always go for seconds, thirds or even fourths as long as you don't waste food. Apart from this, great resort, great scenery, great palce for the family to visit and enjoy a good sunshine holiday. The Thomas Cooke Holiday Rep was experienced and very knowledgable. At times though, we felt she was unapproachable as it seemed that she was expecting you to book an excursion. This complex is idea for families with children of a variety of ages, certainly in terms of the day time entertainment and the water sports. On a evening however som e older children or teenages maybe bored with the entertainment, however there is a "games section" with playstations, machines, pool table etc for them as well. The complex is really easy to get around and all staff are very friendly, especially the entertainment team. The main restaurant is brilliant and has a mixture of fresh meat and fish every night. The alcarte restaurants aren;t really what i'd call al carte however it is table service in them - main down side is the menus are set and the times are strict. The shops on the complex do run expensive, but there is a little shop just around the corner and you can get the same things (newspapers, water toys, crisps etc) for half the price. Its a good idea to have a mixture of Turkish lire and English pound with you, as depending on what you want you can barter a little more. [more...]

Family of 5, teenagers aged 18, 17, 16. Night flight from stansted with thomas cook was excellent, no delays and smooth transfer of about 30mins to majesty tuana. Ro oms are fine (alittle tired) but as we only slept in them they were perfectly fine, clean, comfortable, drinks in small fridge in room on arrival, rooms a nice size, cleaned daily, fresh towels etc. air conditioned. The complex itself is large, club rooms are closer to main restuarant park rooms could be a five minute walk but the grounds are beautiful it really didnt matter. Park rooms have a coulpe of their own pools and smaller bars. The main pool area is large and clean with lots of room with chairs etc. We went 25th july 2011 had no problems in getting a quiet spot . The complex is made up of english german russians quite nice to have a mixture. Food was constantly available. You wont find a fry up (thankfully)the food was fresh with a wide range to choose from. I take my hat off to the chefs catering for such a wide range of people in sweltering heat! Private pebble beach with pier. Daily/nightly activities. Teenagers loved disco (made friends galore) bar staff will serve alcohol. Taxi or bus to surrounding towns Fethiye is quiet and relaxing oludeniz is buzzing. Sum up, really does depend on what you want from a holiday you can get as involved as you like or have it as peaceful as you want. Recommend for families with teenagers as parents can lay back and chill while teenagers can make friends on a safe and secure site. [more...]

I have never written a review on a holiday before but feel I must for the Majesty Tuana. I read mixed reviews on the place before we went but stupidly I ignored the bad ones. I travelled with my husband and 14 year old son. The resort was beautiful but that's where it ended. The food was the same every day, drinks were cheap wine and beer. Room in Park 2 overlooking the pool was tiny and the walls were paper thin. We all fell ill with a stomach bug and an ambulance was called for me and my husband as we were so bad. Several others were ill in the resort as well. Luckily we had travel insurance. The entertainment was the worst I've experienced anywhere. There were lots of typical "Brits on holiday" drinking as much as they could all day and shouting at their kids which really spoilt a day around the pool. I normally make the most of any holiday experience even if it isn't great but this really was awful and unless you are a "typical Brit abroad" I would advise you to give this place a very wide berth. Never really considered Turkey until last year and this is now the second time we have visited the Majesty Tuana, We have been in June and September and both times t he weather was excellent and on both occassions we had a superb time. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday either by the pool or on the beach then this is the place and it is very good value for money and seems to attract people from all over the world. The entertainment is great both during the day and at night, during the day you can either get involved or laugh at the people that d, it is good fun doing both. The accomodation is basic but very clean and tidy with free satelite TV and clean towels every day. There are also free towels for the pool each day as long as you keep returning them in the evening then you can collect fresh ones each morning. One of the best things about this resort aside from all of the things that I have mentioned is that the water is free! I know it is all inclusive but free water is rare. Lunch is the best meal of the day as the pizza that they make is excellent. Breakfast there is lots of choice and dinner you can always find something, when they put steak on make sure you keep going back it is outstanding. if you want a holiday with night life and drama then this is not the place for you The biggest compliment I can pay is that we would go again and probably will really soon. One downside is that some of the staff maybe do not understand what excellent customer service is carrying on with their busy day like you are not there but with good tips you find things improve! Can'y really help with the rep although she was there pretty much every day to help and we rarely buy excursions so no help there either, sorry. Family of 2 adults, one 13 year old daughter. All the facilities were very good (although never tried the Spa). Food was well varied-lots to choose from to suit all tastes. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious enough with a mini bar that can be self stocked via the fridges dotted around the resort . We had our rooms in Park 2 near the pool which was lovely with a decent sized balcony. There is a lovely pier to walk along and you can sun bathe or swim off there. The breeze by the sea was welcome in the 34 degree heat! You can go out on sea kayaks and pedalos (part of the all inclusive) and there are a number of other water sports you can pay to use such as jet skies, kite surfing, parasailing and hire of boats etc. We went on the speed boat taxi to Fethiye (book this at the watersports area) a couple of time on our holiday which is highly recommended :0) We were lucky enough to see 2 Loggerback turtles in the bay at Fethiye as well! There is free use of scuba diving equipment at main pool to try out (with assistance), gives you a taster. My daughter and I did the parasailing together which was excellent!! Also did a scuba diving trip from Fethiye. The grounds of the resort are immaculate and beautifully lush. There is a large frog pond near the restaurant which was fun to go and look at everyday-spot the frogs! I wasn't keen on the "zoo" part-being an animal lover. I'm not into caged birds and there were rabbits and guinea pigs etc. I feel they could do without the "zoo". Also there tended to be quite a stink at the main pool toilets most of the time which was off putting even though they seemed to be cleaned a lot. Other public loos were fine though. Oh and the a la carte restaurants aren't worth it-set menus. We only did the Turkish and stuck with the main restaurant which had exactly the same food anyway! We liked to go to the beach bar of an evening as it was a little cozier and nicer atmosphere. All other areas tend to be quite busy and noisy. [more...]

Awful cramped flight out to and back from Dalaman. Transfer coach to resort was too small resulting in the rep asking one family with a baby to place the baby's cot on the floor in the gangway and another family to seat their children on the parent's laps. For the sake of a taxi, that was an appalling way to deal with the situation. Hotel is first class, there is plenty of choice of food at the main restaurant and there are three other restaurants on site that you can pre-book at no extra charge. Room was very clean on arrival and kept clean throughout our 1 week stay. Balconies and terraces in the standard rooms are very small with room for one person only! The main criticism is that the resort caters for families and is over-run by children. To that end the entertainment team blast loud music through a powerful PA next to the main swimming pool almost non stop. Not a problem if you are happy to lie on the beach though you will need to be there by 9 if you want a sun lounger. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with children. If you want a quiet peaceful holiday, forget it. [more...]

This was our 2nd visit to Majesty Tuana Park, having visited May last year as well. We do not usually visit the same place twice and wondered if we would enjoy it as much the second time around. The answer is yes ! The whole complex is fantastic and we plan to visit many more times. The grounds,pool,restuarant, in fact everything is kept spotless. The staff are all very freindly and up for a laugh. The amimation team do a great job and the evening entertainment in the ampthieter is a must. The quality and selection of food is amazing. The grounds are vast allowing you to find a quiet spot if that is what you want. Other All Inclusive hotels we have visited have served drinks in plastic cups, thats not the case here, drinks are served in glasses. The only thing to point out is that the complex is around 30min dolmus (mini bus) ride from Feithiye, so if you wanted somewhere to walk in th evening you had to get a dolmus, this didn't bother us as we were happy to stay in the complex in the evenings. This was a perfect holiday for our young family (1x4 year old and 1x 20 months). The site had absolutely everything you could possibly want and more for all ages. Th e room was fine, nothing to fancy but nice and clean. The array and quality of food was absolutely amazing. The hotel staff were generally very pleasant. This is the first all-inclusive I have ever been on and we were expecting some kind of catch, but everything, litterly everything you need is free all day and night. I have seen people complain about the location of the accommodation (middle of nowhere), but that was a plus for us, everything we wanted was here on site and there were regular buses and plenty of excursions for those wanting to seek other things. Only downside really was the "beach" wasn't great. Lots of sharp stones and shingle and not nice to walk on with bare feet and the kids didn't really want to spend much time there, but the fact there are 3 pools (all with kids pools) and a mini water park made up for that disappointment. This was our second visit to Turkey and second visit to this hotel, and I must say that it was as good this year as it was last year. After arriving late (due to a f light delay) we were unable to book into our room as there was a computer glitch, but nevertheless we sat chatting to fellow holidaymakers in reception having a few drinks at 5.30 in the morning....what a way to start our holiday drinking at that time. Everyone was so friendly, can't fault any of the staff, they work so hard. The gardens were beautiful. We tried two of the restuarants and the food was great. Will be staying at this hotel again and next time will take my daughter and grand-children as there is plenty of things for the little ones to do. [more...]

Second visit to Majesty Tuana resort and not disappointed, food and accommodation still of a very good standard. This hotel has different parks (but all one the same site) one main one near all the activites excellent for families and park 2 where we stay which has its own pool, bar and facilities where we usually hang out and chill, they supply clean beach towels each day and there are plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs to so no fighting for a spot. Fantastic holiday. The beach was lovely. We were there the first week so it was nice and cosy however after a week when it got crowded the food hall and finding tabl es was proving to be a job and a half! If you want to hog the pool sunloungers it proved to be busy first thing but there are plenty of gardens a little bit away to sit and look out to sea and the mountains which was like being in paradise! The rooms were very clean and spacious - bed wasnt too comfortable tho and woke with a bad back pain every morning. Needed heating on at night and definitely a cardigan or jacket in the evening. You need to like your neighbours as you will hear their every move and chair screech throughout the night. Entertainment was fun and they were good at keeping you entertained. However do not get sucked in with their flirting as having got home my teenage daughter realised she was one of many throughout the year and was mortified! The place itself is not near anything at all and you will need to jump on the bus outside the hotel to venture off anywhere - nowhere in walking distance. We did enjoy our stay although the weather in april and may has proved to be a bit hit and miss - clouds coming off the mountains with thunder storms most afternoons. Not much to do if it rains as all entertainment is totally geared to being outdoors which was a downfall because we headed off to our room a few evenings and were bored! The whole complex is spotlessly clean and the grounds and gardens extremely well kept. Our apartment was lovely with an excellent bathroom with bath and shower. We h ad our teenage son with us and wherever we go he normally ends up on a camp bed or sofa bed, but there was a proper single bed in the apartment for him. The only disappointing thing was the small balcony as we like to sit out with a drink but there was only room for one chair!! However, some of the apartments did seem to have much larger balconies so don't let this put you off. We had maid service and fresh towels every day. The main restaurant had plenty of choice with lots of salads available every day. There was also something different in the outside area of the restaurant every evening such as barbecue, chicken kebab, fresh pizza breads etc and also fresh grilled or barbecued fish every lunch and tea time. Each morning there was an omelette chef and fresh eggs were cooked to order. I am vegetarian so was a bit concerned about going All Inclusive but found plenty to eat, although some dishes were not very clearly labelled and it was hard to guess if they contained meat so I had to ask my husband to test a few things for me. Some nights they had a couple of musicians playing outside restaurant which made for nice atmosphere. The pool bar was lovely to sit out on an afternoon and enjoy sea views and the Majesty Bar was open all day long and evening. All soft drinks were proper brands, Sprite, Coke, Fanta etc and local brand spirits were all fine. The main draft beer was the Turkish Efe's which we have had before and they even had some fonts outside of the bars so that you could help yourself. Wine was very drinkable and bottles of wine were laid out in bars and restaurants for you to either pour a glass or take a bottle. Drinks were served in good measures and barstaff were all friendly. Animation team were great with lots going on for kids and adults day and night, but they were not pushy if you did not want to join in. Our son enjoyed rifle shooting and volleyball and also went canoeing a few times as canoes and pedaloes are free too. I did a zumba class one afternoon which I enjoyed. There were shows and games on in the amphitheatre every night but it was a bit cold to sit out for too long - shows were very popular though. However, this was a bit isolated having to go out to amphitheatre and there was no entertainment or music in bar. They did put some log burners outside main bar each night which was nice. We did a couple of trips, Olu Deniz for the day through Thomas Cook rep (£12) and Fethiye town on dolmus which picks up outside hotel every 10 mins (4 TL). Overall we had a fabulous experience which we felt was really good value booked through Thomas Cook as we got a free child place. We all enjoyed the holiday. I t was early in the year, but it was just what we all wanted, quiet, relaxing. the food was exceptional, cooked while we waited, we all could not fault it. There were 4 of us all in 50's and thought it was just great. Will go back, also recommend to friends.Mind the entertainment needed to be worked upon. But that did not spoil the holiday. Good place to go for a nice relaxing holiday, they did it all. Also only fault no tea making in room. That would have been nice. [more...]

Majesty Tuana club is a 4 star resort providing a 7 stars service. Staff are so helpful, my little one always wanted her apples(one red and one green) out of the foo d or snacks time and the guys always brought what she wanted with a smile one their faces. Bit more English language skills of the staff would have been great; however, the language barrier didn't decrease our feeling of genuine hospitality. I would encourage Thomas cook to make some efforts to make the landing time of the flights in the afternoon rather than 2 am. Nevertheless, when we arrived to the hotel at 3:30 am, we found the early breakfast buffet ready for us. Also on our last day after checking out, we were still welcome to have all meals and drinks untill we left to the airport at 11 pm There are two young ladies with the animation team they are both called "Aysha", they were in charge of looking after the kids and my daughter loved them, average English, but still, they really did great job. Special thanks for them. Food is spot on. If you are vegetarian, you’d find it bit annoying - as usual in many places - in terms of finding variety of options because, there is meat in everything. However, all what you need to do is to ask the head chef (really great guy) to prepare something especially for you when you arrive to the restaurant or tell the lady in the guest relations (very helpful and always meet you with a smile on her face) office and she will sort you out. Honestly, it was a holiday where the most exhausting thinking I did was “what time do I want to have my meals or which drink I fancy”. Bar 24/7, all inc. Beer, Vodka, soft drinks are good to ok, wine is rubbish (Get yours from duty free if wine is your thing). Go for it guys, it is worth every pence. [more...]

We found this hotel welcoming, well maintained and with a friendly and very efficient staff. The quality, variety and choice of food was superb, with particularly go od fish. Our room was large, comfortable and immaculately clean, although a little cold at night until we discovered how to operate the heating system. The site is extensive in area and very well kept throughout. A lovely river runs to the West of the hotel and you can access open countryside easily across it. The entertainment is a bit holiday campish but the Animation staff worked very hard to keep everyone happy. Good watersport facilities with free canoes and pedalos,but no safety boat and few lifejackets in evidence. The Thomas Cook reps we met were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is also a sensible distance from Dalaman Airport (about 40 minutes). [more...]

The complex was kept spotlessly clean and the gardens were beautiful and well tended. Food was good, particularly at the speciality restaurants which needed a reserv ation. We were always served promptly at the bars although the self service points were excellent as well. I particularly liked being able to get a bottle of wine especially at meal times. The attitude of the staff ranged from dutiful to very friendly. There was enough going on entertainment wise with competitions and sports and games arranged if that is your bag but it wasn't remotely butlinesque and there was no pressure to join in. My 7 year old son made plenty of friends around the pool area and didn't bother with the kids club. Having a choice of pools was great with the main pool being at the hub of things whilst the pool nearest our accommodation at Park 2 was quieter with a relaxed atmosphere. All in all a very pleasant week and would highly recommend this hotel. [more...]

We stayed for a week at the Majesty and it was brilliant. Everything about the resort was great - the food, drink, surroundings, activities - all spot on. The a la c arte restaurants were really good and made a nice change from the normal one. There was always plenty of bar staff and they were very friendly. Good mix of holiday makers - couples and families. The whole hotel was very impressive - very clean and loads to do - the water sorts were great fun. The on site spa was well priced and our treatment was great fun. We went on an excursion to the mud baths which was good fun but the outdoor showers were freezing!!! Me and my girlfriend had a great holiday and will definitely be going back to the same hotel - we couldn't fault it at all. o The only disappointing aspect of the holiday was the aerplane. The seats were extremely uncomfortable giving no leg room at all. I'm under 6' and I just couldn't get comfy - if you're over 6' or are on the large side - definitely pay extra for more room. part from that - excellent, best holiday I've ever had. What you would expect from a large scale all inclusive package but the standard of the rooms/facilities/activites and food is better than average. Animation team did their best with limited staff as last week of the season so got the impression some had left already. Staff in the childrens club were not friendly or approachable but fortunately there were enough other activites to keep all the kids entertained. The cleaning/ground staff did a fabulous job. Didn't like the scramble for tables in the restaurant or the fact that you had to find your own cutlery etc. or that there was limit selection of tables suitable for a party of 5. Also guests were allowed to smoke in the restaurant (semi open) which was not nice. Luxury of fresh beach towels daily was great. The veiws were fabulous. Hated the fact that there were 2 full time photographers following the kids around all day then a hard sell on route to the restaurant in the evening (but this could be avoided by going into the restaurant the other way). Also went the long way round to avoid the hard sell you got from the shop keepers in the mall (but my teenage daughter did get a lovely "Louis Vitton" handbag!) My youngest daughter loved the mini disco and my son enjoyed the archery and air gun shooting. All enjoyed the mini golf (even if we did have to play with a wedge not a putter and 1 ball between five of us!). All enjoyed the water slides. [more...]

I found myself with a last-minute bonus week off work and was desperate for some sun and relaxation but no-one to holiday with. Saddo! The Majesty Club Tuana and Par k looked just the ticket for some sun and relaxation. In previous reviews lots of people had said that you should try to get on the Club side as it's nearer to all the facilities and action. However, I was on the Park side and I LOVED it! I was about as far away as it was possible to get from the main resort centre but it was still only a 5-10 minute walk. Each park has it's own pool and bar which is much quieter and still serves simple food and drinks and was absolutely lovely. For me, I loved being in the park, able to access the central entertainment when I wanted to but with a very tranquil space to go to when I didn't - it was absolutely perfect. The food was the most spectacular spread I've ever seen. How anyone can criticise the range of choice is beyond me. It was the most huge spread and I really enjoyed it every night. The speciality restaurants were also very good. The staff were, without exception, incredibly polite and helpful. If I had to pick a fault, it is that it's a bit of a rigmarole to leave the resort and go and see other places. However, there are plenty of opportunities on offer. We booked the Majesty as a late deal and it was fantastic we couldn't have asked for much more. The complex is huge which is what we were looking for. We were in th e Park rooms which were a pleasant 5 minute walk from the main pool, restaurant etc, however it had its own bar and pool for those that wished to have a few days of quiet. The rooms were clean and fresh with really good facilities. The showers were very powerful and we were surprised it was as good. The complex itself was beautiful. Luxurious grounds which were very well kept, there were always people cleaning, raking leaves, watering the plants, you really couldn't ask for more. The restaurant was good, other reveiws have said it was busy however when we went it was easy to get a seat. The food was in our opinion very good quality. There was plenty of meats, fish, salads, dresings, pastas, turkish pittas which are a must and fresh donuts, ice creams and cakes which were appetising. I don't think we expected so much choice. Neither of us had any problems eating everything. The drinks available were off a good quality. Efes their local beer was our choice, although they did have fosters and becks on tap. The local spirits were of a good quality and we couldn't pick fault. The entertainment was good if thats what you enjoy. They work long hours and very hard with many activities during the day and evening entertainment to a high standard. We didn't go with kids but i imagine they would love it, many of the children enjoyed the big pools and slides and most parents seemed to have a relaxing time with the childrens pool being shallow with lots of sunbeds surrounding it. Overall we would definately return and recommend the resort. Early september is a good time to go as the weather is a little cooler and I expect the resort is quieter but still enough going on to keep you occupied. Thumbs up :) [more...]

Not happu at all with my jurney..Thomas cook let me down on this ocasion we reach our hotel at 5am on sat 18of sept but been told to check out from hotel at 12 on fr iday when our flight was at 4 am on sat so we spend whole day on a beach without any help from a holiday rep...We paid for 7 nights and got just 6 ...Great hotel with very good facilities but with a very rude and unhelpful staff...Same food every day for a week and a choice of drinks left a lot to disire...Wouldn't recomend this holidays to anyone [more...]

just returned from a weeks holiday at the majesty tuana. We stayed in the 'park 'part of the resort which was the quieter part and only a 3 min walk to the hub of th e resort. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels daily.There is a small pool and bar in the park area which we found to be quieter than the main pool area. The main restaurant was clean with plenty of staff to clear tables, the negative was that the food layout was stretched out with butter not near bread and cooked meat away from hot dishes so by the time you had chosen food, got drinks from bar area and sat down your food was a little cold.Main pool always busy and by nine in morning no chance of a sunbed next to pool, but there are plenty in surrounding grounds near to beach. The resort is so big and I found catered for either large familes or large groups of people (3 wedding parties while we were there) so as a couple we found it difficult to mix with other couples. the entertainment team work very hard getting all that want to, involved in poolgames etc in the day and put on some good shows in the evening,bearing in mind there was a multi language audience!! Fantastic hotel, lovely grounds, extremely clean. Big towels, clean sheets every day. Excellent swimming pools..3 for adults 3 for children plus aqua slides..loads o f sun beds, with mattresses, and parasols..round pool and on beach..Great food...fresh cooled pizza...doughnuts....a la carte restaurants easy to book and loads of good food. Animation team work so hard...long days...always laughing..joking and smiling....great water gym...we love you Darina. Overall....absolutely fantastic....and I was well looked after at the airport as I have mobility problems also I was taken ill on the flight home and was well looked after by the flight stewardess. Transfer to hotel fairly quick and straightforward. The Final road to the resort had us a bit worried looks like you're going to middle of nowhere. On arrival 5 mins later things look fine, the staff friendly-a liitle cart ride to your room-This was rather dark but bed comfy and clean. -dark decor and wood-no great improvement in daylight. Trying to sleep was a nightmare. The ceilings and walls are very thin -we could hear everyone speaking/shouting, babies crying, heels on floor above etc. Next day we checked out the facilities-no problem here-Breakfast was great -lots of choice for any nationality-same for dinner. Lovely seating outside. White linen etc. Pool is great-there are three smaller quieter pools at other edges if you want it more noise-free. Beach quite nice -hard gravel- but use the big jetty and ladders to pop into the sea. Plenty of beds/brollies/shade-and big plump cushions for lounging on. Choice of 3 Restaurants a la carte -all very nice -take as much wine as you like-set out in bottles. Do put mosquito spray on at night esp round the legs! then forget about it. Evening events were worked hard on- from star-gazing at the end of the jetty to Turkish nights etc. Sort of place you can join in or sit back no problem. [more...]

We started our holidays with a four hours delay, and not much information from Thomas Cook. No the best start. Our hotel had beautiful gardens, but we did not have a family room. The four of us were in a simple double bedroom with four beds. We arrived in our hotel almost 24 hours after our reservation started, and we have to leave almost 24 hours after our reservation finished. Apart of this lack of co-ordination, the holidays were brilliant. Turkey is a fantastic country, especially outside the hotel. Amazing Pamukale and Olu Deniz. [more...]

Having read the reviews of the hotel and resort prior to booking, I can say that despite some negative reviiews about this hotel, that we had a wonderful time. We ha ve been on several all inclusive holidays in Turkey and can honestly say this was the best. We do not expect haut quisine but the food was of a high quality and varied and caters also for those less adventurous, i.e plenty of chips and burgers available. Wine is available, just help yourself from the coolers. Typical continental breakfast but also English as well. The a la carte returaunts are also very good. The faci;ities are excellent with a large pool and several bars where you can serve yourself with beer! Soft drinks include bottles of Coke and Sprite and free bottled water in fridges everywhere. The Hotel is in a large parkland setting which is not near any resort but Fethiye is just a short 20 min Dolmush ride away and well worth visiting especially in the evening. The evening entertainment is good and they certaintly try to put on a good show. Water sports and the gym are good and the small shopping mall on site with internet and pool table etc keep the kids amused. [more...]

flights to and from turkey were extremely cramped and by far the most uncomfortable flight i have ever taken, sardines in a tin springs to mind. road to hotel very m isleading as it is poor at best but the hotel was very nice. Room, hotel grounds and restaurants were very clean and very well kept. swimming pool never smelt of chlorine which might explain my sons and many other childrens eye and ear infection food was basic but more than acceptable drinks were plentiful although the bar staff were the unhappiest looking ones i have come across the staff in the restaurant also looked miserable were too quick in taking plates sometimes when meals had not been finished. the air rifle shooting and archery were not very safe and i doubt wold pass a health and safety check thomas cook arranged boat trip very enjoyable weather was sensational the thomas cook at the resort (nickname Whoopi) was very very good [more...]

This holiday was fabulous, downside was the late flight which meant we did not arrive at our hotel until 6.am in the morning after flying from gatwick at 21.55, the previous evening. The receptionist was great and drove us and the cases to our room. The hotel was out of the way, but the hotel cleanliness the food and entertainment were excellent. We have been on many holidays abroad and both agree this was the best so far and we are hoping to book again in 2011 as my husband celebrates his 65th Birthday and we have been married 40 years in 2011, We are also going to take our 13 year old grandson with us as a treat. i was dissappointed with the food we had the same food every night no different menu.I didnt feel they catered for the english,in fact one member of staff told me th at the english only like chicken nuggerts and chips,and thet had those every night.the itatlian resturant was very good the food was good and the staff there were very friendly which was more than you could say about the bar staff at the pool bar,where they tried there hardest not to serve you.the rooms were very nice and clean the entertainment was good and they were very good with the children.i just feel the food let them down badly.the pool area and pool was very nice all the areas around the complex was kept very clean and they always had a lifeguard which is always nice to no and the slides always had someone there to watch they being used properly and safely. Lovely resort and friendly people (apart from the reception) but nothing else around and taxis were expensive. Room was very small, we had our 13 year old son with u s and had to a double and single all next to each other with no room either side or in the middle; we asked to change rooms but they were not very helpful and couldnt accomodate us! Pool staff very nice and lots to do on the resort and spotlessly clean with lovely gardens. Food okay with plenty of choice and drinks were readily available and of good quality. We went in a taxi to Hisaroni and had a lovely evening, well worth a visit. In fact we have booked to stay there in October this year. [more...]

Myself my partner and a another couple booked a week all inclusive at the Majesty Tuana. The food and drink was great with cold beers and bottle water constantly be ing brough round by staff for guests laying in the sun, the entertainment was good and everyone looked after us start to finish., Our travel rep "Herma" or "Whoopi" as she is known was fantastic and helped us in any way we could. The beach wasnt brilliant but the pier, the jetti, the water was fantastic and was a great remote spot with harly any disturbances whatsoever. We all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and we definitely go there again and book it with Thomas Cook again also! 9/10 rated holiday!! [more...]

we booked this holiday on the recommendation of a work collegue, and we were not disapointed .It came up to expectations and beyond , both the staff at exeter Thomas Cook who helped us book it and the hotel staff and rep made this a 25th anniversary to remember for ever. Nothing was to much trouble , and the accomadation ,food and weather were superb . Also the trips organised bythe rep (who was known as whoopi goldberg) were amazing in both quality and value for money , especially the one to the gold centre ,turkish delight factory and fethiye market. Needless to say that i will be booking my future holidays with thomas cook only as not one little thing went wrong , and we will treasure the memories forever of this wonderfull holiday . We had a fantastic time. The hotel was more than we expected with excellent accomodation. The rooms were clean and airy and of ample size there was a bath and shower with hot water throughout the day and night and all cleaned each day. The restaurant was fantastic with a choice for everyone throughout the day and evening and the specialised fish restaurant was a delight to the taste buds. The endless supply of drinks all day if required and an excellent choice of snacks. The swimming pool and slide pool were clean and welcoming and with the beach a few steps away it could not have been better. The entertainment crew were just that entertaining and were always with a smile and welcome whenever you saw them. All the staff were polite and helpful. The actual resort felt like you had found paradise and I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to anyone of any age as there seemed to be something for all to enjoy. [more...]

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in the Majesty Club Tuana. It was our first ever trip to Turkey and although places had been recommended to us we liked th e look and sound of this hotel. The accommodation was spot on, very clean and well kept. The only down side to our room was that we overlooked the Zoo, this consisted of guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and a COCKRELL! Well as you can imagine at daybreak it wasn't exactly silent. The surroundings were very pretty, lots of greenery and flowers which were all well looked after. The location was good, only 40 minutes transfer from the airport. The hotel is situated on the beach with its own pier. Drinks were plentiful, there were lots of bars to get drinks from dotted all over the complex. Food was good too, although from previous experiences of all inclusive hotels the meat choice was a bit poor, however saying that what was there was very good and you definently wouldn't starve, I must say to their credit the salads were delicious. This complex was set in the most beautiful surroundings, the gardens were kept to the highest standard I have ever seen in Europe. The swimming pools were fantastic, the staff were really friendly and all spoke English. The food was available from early until midnight. Drink was flowing freely and I could even have my Baileys free of charge. The food was absolutely lovely and plenty of variety so something for everyone. Most of the entertainment is within the complex because unfortunately nothing outside, the nearest next resort was Fethiye but to be fair the buses ran from outside the complex every ten minutes and really cheap but it was 17kms about half hour ride away. You could get all over the place with these buses which were very cheap. The entertainment in the evening was only by the animation team but bearable. The only downside was that they had a disco from 11-2a.m. which was really loud so make sure you get a quiet area or do not go to bed until after this has finished. I would recommend this hotel it is beautiful and the flights were all on time. [more...]
