Great Family holiday with older children
We had a great time at the Papillion Belvil. Everything was superb from the facilities and the entertainment staff. Food was excellent and something for everyone even the fussy eater which I am. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. The onsite facilities especially the gym was state of the art with all new equipment. cannot fault at all and there was always something for us to do and the onsite waterpark and kids club are brilliant.

This was our second stay and it is still excellent
Our second visit to the Papillon Belvil . We had such a great time last year that we booked again and recommended it to some friends and they came with us this year. They thought it fabulous too. My son is longing to go back again next year too!
Thanks Papillon Belvil and Thomas Cook. - it was all superb!

Fabulous family holiday in Turkey
This hotel is fantastic. We went right at the end of August and came back home the day before school was due back and although it was hot, it was not as hot as the week before we had come out - it was in the 36-40 degrees whereas early to mid August was in mid 40's!
The food at this restaurant is absolutely out of this world - there would be nothing that you or the children want for. The AI drinks are fantastic, plenty of cocktails or spirits (they use Smirnoff so was impressed - not cheap Vodka), cocktails for the kids too. The staff at the hotel are fantastic and the entertainment team are the best that I have seen so far. All in all this hotel is 5* and well worth the same. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and where we were was nice and quiet - hear no noise of an evening. There is plenty for people to do during the day and for all ages. Childrens area is great - all under cover so no risk of sunburn or over heating.
I was dubious about trying out Turkey (always gone to Spain with the children) but this hotel was absolutely great and there was not one thing that I can honestly say that I would have complainted about. The food is good, hotel is clean, staff are very obliging .... what more can you say - oh yes and the beach was about 10 steps away from the pool. Not many slides in this hotel - one big one and a small twisty one but was enough for our children (aged 8 and 5).

Group Family Holiday in Turkey
Our friends had visited this hotel the previous year and had a wonderful time. They asked if our family and 2 other families would like to go with them this year and we all agreed. I was slightly hesitant as I had never been all inclusive before as we normally hired villas but I had no reason to worry. On arrival we headed straight to the bar in the Hotel lobby so we could all have a rest and a chat before moving on to our rooms. We asked the hotel staff if the 4 families could be near each other if possible and they managed to do just that, our 4 apartments were next door to each other. Really don't know where to start but the apartments were clean (and a maid came in daily), the mini bar restocked daily, nice clean beach towells every day etc etc. The food was superb and on our first night we just wandered around thinking were do we start!!!! Fresh fish, all sorts of meat dishes, pasta dishes (if you're a vegetarian no need to worry whatsoever - the salad choices were excellent) and we didn't have a chip all week (even though they were on offer). During the day you could choose from the pizza stand, the crepe hut (sweet or savoury), ice cream, doughnuts - all starting at different times, as well as lunch in the restaurant & outside bars - you could not possibly go hungry. Breakfast was also lovely catering for all tastes. The pools were fantastic and several members of our group took part in the various aerobis classes and gym but laying by the pool for 7 days was just great and so relaxing. There was entertainment every evening but to be quite honest we didn't really watch them as we usually ended up in the beach bar with the disco going on but don't worry - a really low key and friendly disco with all the kids loving it. The beach party was really enjoyable, again a lot of dancing but with fireworks and a barbecue going on as well. To end I am struggling to fault this place at all - it may have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but to be honest, a 2 minute walk and you could grab one! As our friends had been the year before, they were able to give some really good advice - take inflatables with you (I bought a load on line) - a lilo could cost £25 from the hotel shop and we ran out of my son's factor 50 - again it cost £23 for another so not cheap by any means but if prepared you shouldn't really need anything from there. We are already talking about a possible return next year as we all had an amazing time - would highly recommend this holiday to all.

Fabulous Chill Out Holiday
Our holiday was fabulous from start to finish. Having stayed at another hotel in the Belek area we thought it was time to try another one - we were not disappointed. The hotel was excellent, food was lovely, maybe a bit repetitive but there was enough to try something different every night. The rooms in the main hotel building were very spacious and the rooms were always thoroughly cleaned. Will definitely return to a Papillon hotel.

Did what it said on the lable.....Well almost!! pushing it a bit with the 5star rating but most defo a 4 star. no issues with anything really, everything was very good from accommodation to pool, beach, sun loungers (lots and lots + no issues with towel booking in Oct), special restuarants all very good. Turkish bath & massage pricey at 210 Euros for family of Mum, Dad 2 older kids and granny. All in an great break in a very good resort and exactly what I expected of Belek having stayed twice in Lara Beach in similiar resorts.

Overall excellent - but...
This is a magnificent resort/hotel; everything a family/couple/single you could want or need.
The "buts" are: you may be put in a high number block 39 room (eg 3975) for your first night, especially if you're a late arrival; not dreadful but not as described in the brochure. Make sure you pester reception first thing the next morning and kick up a fuss; then you'll get moved to a super room.
On the final day, if you're a late pick-up,as we were, you can't keep your room but they'll promise a "courtesy room" to shower/change etc in later; make sure you get it confirmed because when we came to use it we were told "nothing available, go use the indoor pool area" which was totally unsuitable and not at all convenient; the reception shifts don't seem to communicate with each other (or give that impression!)
Overall tho' a superb holiday and the 2 incidents above simply reduced our rating from 5+ to 5
