Great Holiday in Olu Deniz but wouldn't recommend hotel!! Staying in Olu deniz was amazing, the hotel was a let down, the rooms were small but i cant complain too much as i only slept in there so fair enough. The staff were only nice wen u stayed in the hotel majority of the holiday, if you weren't spending money in the hotel they didn't want to know you, the food was ok but im glad we only chose the B&B option as the resturants on the strip are amazing, could not fault the food, so fresh. But unfortunately I would not recommend staying in Perdikia Hotel....... Liberty Hotel looked nice wen we walked past it, they were doing water activities like water polo and water aerobics. I will definitely be going back to Olu deniz just not to same hotel, Perdikia. June 22, 2013
Beautiful romantic surroundings, no end of great places to eat out. Clean tidy hotel with friendly and very helpful staff, located very close to beach and local ammenities without suffering from the noise of the busy strip. Had a meal at the hotel one night and it was good with an excelent selection but with so many great places to eat localy why bother with full board ( I recomend the secret garden restaurant). The beach is clean and tidy with sunbeds and umbrella's for hire at a reasonable rate, water gets deep quick but is cleer with a stony bottom (use jelly shoes to get in and out). We had the most wonderful romantic holiday ever and hopefully will be back again at the same hotel next year. October 16, 2012
great holiday spoiled at the last miniute This was our 3rd visit to the Kanta Hotel, Port el Kantaoui, Tunisia - lovely hotel for couples -not much to do if you have children. Rooms and service excellent. Holiday ruined by a thief working for airline at Tunisia airport scanning case and upon finding evidence of having jewellery in it decided to force lock and help himself to approx £2000 of gold jewellery - leaving behind the cheaper sliver stuff. Thomas Cook did not want to know about theft despite police at Newcastle airport confirming that they are notified of thefts at Tunisia airport with alarming regularity!!!! October 13, 2012
Fantastic holiday, quiet hotel with everything we needed This is the 5th time we have been to this hotel. We love Olu Deniz and the Perdikia - I should have given it a poor rating to put people off but it is a lovely hotel. Clean and quiet for us with attentive staff. As with all turkey hotels the bringing in of food and drink is frowned on but the prices in the hotel are not too bad. We have already booked for next year and looking forward to another value for money holiday with Thomas Cook and The Perdikia. October 11, 2012
Holiday overall was, as usual, excellent at this particular hotel, but.... We have stayed at the Perdikia hotel many times over the years and have found it excellent for the money. But then we know the staff and they know us. The downside of the holiday was the cramped seating on the outward bound plane. My husband who is 6ft was extremely discomforted, and the journey was not helped by the confusion over the seats we had booked. Fortunately we were able to obtain a seat with extra legroom on the inward bound journey, but this cost him an extra £12. October 11, 2012
Average hotel good value Great location and very clean however the lack of efficient air conditioning was a real let down given the temperature. We were not allowed to bring in extra water or given any from hotel to compensate for the extreme temperature in the rooms. This really spoiled our stay in an otherwise acceptable hotel. The rep did eventually give us a fan for the room but was not sympathetic to our and other guests complaints.he just made excuses and demonstrated very poor customer relations by not following up on complaint. We never saw him again and got the impression he could not be bothered.maybe he was too hot! August 31, 2012
Great holiday at the Perdikia Beach in Olu Deniz The hotel was lovely, the food delicious and the staff excellent. Yes the rooms are small but very adequate, they are cleaned daily along with fresh towels and sheets. The hotel is in a great location only a couple of minutes walk to the main center and beach. What really makes the hotel is the staff they cant do enough to help! This was our second visit and we will be booking again for 2013. August 2, 2012
Greatb little find. for us the Perdikia was a great little find. Tucked away on a quiet side road but still only 5 minutes from the centre and the sea front. Ample breakfast with a good range of choice. Dinners were hot and not a wide choice but always a plentiful salad and dessert bar. we certainly didn't go hungry. Downside was the very cold pool and the manky gym and indoor pool, But who goes to Turkey to spend time in a gym? We'll certainly make a return visit. Rooms were ok, clean and well maintained in the new block. Older block could do with a bit of sprucing up. Family rooms are well afrranged so that you get privacy. November 12, 2011
