Rated 5 out of 5 by Johnnyboy Absolutely brilliant hotel with first class service
The brochure doesnt lie on this one. This is a fantastic resort great for all ages. If you have young children then this is the resort as children are well catered for and looked after. This year it's very hot we haveonly come back today and found it difficult to stay out in the sun between 11:00-15:00 temprature rangeed between 36 - 42 degrees C. The food is unbeleiveable. Also the reps were really good at this resort for once they walked the talk and they were there when they said they would be. The only down side is this hotel is Spanish owned therefore prices ar in Euros, so if ou are staying there it may be easier to take Euros. Activities like Diving and Quad biking are expensive. What we will do next time is get a taxi to olu deniz and book locally to save about 40%

Rated 5 out of 5 by flange shake shake shake shake lykia world !!!!
What an amazing palce. So Beautiful and so much to do . The food in LYKIA WORLD is cooked fresh in front of you and the choice is second to none from fresh turkish kebas to a bbq with loads of choice. The childrens clubs are run so well from around 10.00 in the morning till 11.00 at night . In The hotel grounds the hotel has its own water park called childrens paradise. Great fun for the kids and adults to plus beautiful scenery. The kids can also eat in the childrens resturant up there.
the entertainment is really good on an evening starting with a show in the ampi theatre then onto the disco till the early hours.
lykia world is on full board plus but you can now upgrade to all inc for £8.00 per person per day . Well worth it.
You can get a taxi onto olu deniz for around £10.00 return .
Cost of living is still really good out in turkey.

Rated 2 out of 5 by cosmicgirl1962 Passed its Sell-By Date and Trading on Past Glory
Food & swimming pools excellent. Beach excellent for swimming (although shelved quickly). Service in restaurants poor and have to clean your own table if you are lucky enough to get one. Maintenance and cleanliness of indoor public areas and room, very poor. Decor and furnishings tired and dated. Complete refurb of interior needed. Entertainment mostly amateurish and Hi-De-Hi, although sometimes excellent. Too hilly and isolated from the town. 3rd time in Turkey all-inclusive and this was the worst but most expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Traci123 Fantastic Family Holiday
This really is a great resort if you have a young family. We travelled with our 1 and 3 year old girls and we all had an amazing 2 week holiday in Sept 2012. Accommodation a little dated but perfectly functional, food was fantastic, restaurants had plenty of clean high chairs and catered for all tastes. My 3 year old loved the kids club and wanted to go every day (and night), my 1 year old wouldn't settle in the baby room but they were very good and allowed us to try a few times. Absolutely stunning setting and the entertainment team were by far the best I have seen on an 'all inclusive' type holiday. Plenty to do during the day, so much so, we never left the complex for full 2 weeks! Kids loved it and had a great time and so did we. Will consider going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by neil excellent ... booked for next year.. 3 years in row
Lykia world is excellent... we stay in the residence rather than the village, we prefer the feel of being in a hotel rather than self catering apartment...
rooms are slightly dated but you spend sleeping time in there only, bathroom is good. restaurants are excellent in particular residence as it is laid out more like a restaurant where the village is more like school dinners sharing tables... the best restaurant is the Marina on the beach fantastic food, when it opens at 7pm mad rush, it is still very hot at this time but has the most amazing sunset.. excellent bar on the beach which we spent lots of time at.... overall fantastic holiday
I have two slight negatives, firstly i have to include myself, saving sun beds with towels. Unfortunately this was a must because if you didn't at 8am they had all gone... got to the point were we getting up a stupid O'clock to reserve beds...
The other negative is the staff, most of them are just ok, not friendly, its like you have paid your money so we dont have to be nice to you... if we got looked after, which we did by certain people we tipped them... really didnt understand this, management should have been educating these members of staff..
final final point... drinks/all inclusive... when we first went you had a magic card which upgraded you to all inclusive with named spirits ice creams etc ... this time had two options magic card which you were given free credits and an all inclusive that was just local beers and spirits but not ice cream... really poor decision in opinion..
dont get me wrong this is superb place for kids and adults

Rated 5 out of 5 by trees Paradise absolutely loved it.
We have just had a week a Lykia World with my 3 year old daughter and it was the best holiday location we have ever been too. The food was brill loads of choice and really top quality. The childrens paradise is exactly that set in beautiful surroundings. We have been to sandals in the past but personally lykia world comes is just as good. I am booking for next year as it was so beautiful.
