great holiday very relaxing time in icmeler we have just spent two weeks at ekinic palace in icmeler we had a lovely time the room was very clean the cleaning lady was lovely very pleasant the staff were nice and friendly the food was good and reasonable we were upstairs the first night and asked to be moved to groun floor because i could nt manage the stairs we got moved the next day no problem we are already trying to book again for august cant wait to get back many thanks to casper for his kindness May 29, 2014
Had a good 3 weeks there Well me and my husband stayed at ekinic June last year 2013 we really enjoyed there. And the good point was we were next door to sun village that we know for 8 years now its close to everything u pay for what u get.well we loved it that much we already book for June this year and we taking our 3 year old grandaughter with us so anyone wants to go there u will enjoy the friendly staff they will make ur holiday the best xxxx January 21, 2014
I would rather rip out my toenails and dip my feet in vinegar than return. The high spot of my recommendation is that the cleaners were great. The food was appalling. Staff were initially keen to share their stories of financial difficulties rather than offer basic service. Service was sporadic - and affected by staff's inability to multi-task e.g. inappropriately flirt with females and serve food/clean pool/check-in/out other guests. October 11, 2012
good holiday that suits most age groups When we arrived at Ekinci Palace we were given an attic room these are not advisable for more that two peolpe thet are extremly hot and cramped. We asked to be moved and was told we could the following day. The room we moved to was better but there is no air conditiong in the lounge area were we was sleeping and the beds are not very good either we had a good view over the pool area but the downside is the music from the bar is very loud and goes on until after midnight and the bar itself does not close until everyone has gone. The staff at Ekinci Palace are excellent and go out of there way to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay there. Ekinci is only a short walk to the main town of Ichmeler where there is a good choice of bars and restaurants. Overall we had a good hoiday and was better than expected after reading all the poor reviews. October 11, 2012
Dirty and unkept Arrived at 4am, shown our room where the floor was flooded from the fridge being defrosted, there was a dirty towel hanging out of the fridge and another just chucked on the floor to help mop up the water. One bed was broken, the pillows were yellow and stained, the sofa bed was so filthy that I refused to let my daughter sleep on it. The kitchen cupboard handles were broken, there was toothpaste all over the bathroom door. Our friends who stayed in the room next door had similar issues as well as the patio door glass being broken, which was replaced at 9am the morning after we arrived whilst our friends were still in bed! The sunbeds were all reserved by 11pm the previous night and the pool water was very murky looking. The rep for Thomas Cook was very good and was able to move us to the Mitos hotel, which was perfect, so perfect we have booked to stay at the Mitos again. October 11, 2012
We stayed at ekinci palace for two weeks in sept. the apartments were what we expected, basic, clean & in a nice location,a 10 minute walk to the resort centre. The pool area was great for the first week then the pool itself turned green & cloudy, nobody was stopped from entering the pool which was a surprise. they did`nt get it cleaned until our last day so it was the beach for the last week. The food was o.k. but it was no where near as good in most of the places we ate in the resort (too many to mention). The only downside to our holiday was the flight home, it was delayed 3 hours, which was a long time to spend in the most expensive airport in europe(£14 for a beer & a coke!) Overall we a fantastic holiday t a great resort with very nice people, great food & drink. We are definity returnig next year October 7, 2010
2 weeks of total relaxation anyone wanting a relaxing laid back holiday this is a must. first time in icmeler and it wont be the last. everything you need, sun, sea, nice beach, nice people, very little hassle from people trying to get you to eat or drink or buy anything. lazy day boat trip around the islands is a great cheap way to spend a day away. there are many other trips available if you prefer to travel a bit further. hotel was fine, quite adequate for self catering. pool and bar area nice and clean, plenty of sun beds. plenty of bars and eating places close by. a nice 10 minute stroll takes you to the resort centre. prices throughout very reasonable for food and drink. overall a very enjoyable holiday, cant wait to give it another go. fab family time We had a great holiday at the Ekinci Palace. The staff were lovely. The rooms were cleaned daily . The pool and poolside area were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the slide and the kids area. The shop was well stocked with your basic needs. You can get a full english for £2 brought to your room. Would recommend this place without a doubt. If you eat in Cabana around the corner, they give you your breakfast or lunch free next day and thier prices are very reasonable. Already looking to book here for next year. Likewise some of the people we met. Looking forward to going back. September 25, 2010
