The hotel is of good standard and is clean and tidy. There is a lot of steps so if you are short of breath or struggle with them don't go here! but the views are wor
th every step!! At through the day and night time you can sit outside on one of the balcony's and look out over the bay and it is beautiful. It is around a 3*+ in my view. We stayed in the hotel part and our room was massive. Our maid was poor but the impression we got from other people were theres were very good (she didn't get a tip from me and that was the first time ever!). Food is good and well stocked, excellent vegetarian options as 50% of food was of this type.
There was fresh made Turkies pizza/bread made everyday and this made food times for our children. Sun loungers (here we go again) everyone one not just the Germans put towels on them to hold them and you can not get on one unless you go down around 7.00am (i am on holiday)?. Make sure you go and hire a boat from Bodrum costs around £200 for the full day (end of october) and you will have a great time.
Music at night was far to loud and at sometimes couldn't talk to each other across the table.
The entertainment term were not very good at all, at one point around the pool they were playing music that was not appropriate for family's (we have a 12+14 Girls and i found it to much for me). They also seem to like young girls to much? Dads keep your eye on them. But don't let these points put you off as we would go again.
When you are getting a larger from a bar (many bars areas) there is only one pump and you can end up waiting around 20 mins for each drink (drink wine as you don't have to wait) at busy times.

Very pleasant staff throughout.
Travel went smoothly, arrival at hotel, even though middle of night, was fine.
Room was very spacious with two large bedrooms and a s
itting room which was perfect for a family of four.
Fantastic views from the hotel of the sea and sunsets.
Restaurant was good and staff friendly food got repetitive after a few days but there was always plenty of salad. Disappointed that we weren't told in advance that the A la Carte restaurant wasn't available during our stay, nor was the evening entertainment in the ampitheatre instead we had to make do with Karioki and Miss Bodrum style entertainment in the bar.
we were a little out of season, being October, but there were still plenty of guests. Some of the bars were closed which meant, the ones open were very busy and it was normal to wait 30mins for a drink at busy times.
Inviting looking swimming pools but far too cold for most people. The water slides were fun but again only two open, one slow and one lethal. Only time before someone has a spinal injury on the white one.
We preferred going by the sea, which was beautiful and the water far warmer than the pool. As all sunbeds by the pool were 'reserved' by 8am. It was better to go by the sea where you could usually still get one before 10am.
Bus goes into Bodrum from just outside which was very easy.
We enjoyed a wonderful couple of hours being pampered and massaged in the spa. Then went every night for a sauna, steam and Turkish bath all inclusive.
In summary a really good holiday!

Ill start with the flight. What a nightmare....the plane had no legroom in fact easyjet had more legroom than TC. Was very sore legged at end of flight.
Bodrum Holid
ay Resort sits on a hillside and its very steep to get around. The food was good and plenty of choice but I should imagine a bit repetitive for 2 weeks. (we went for only 1 week). However the food soon got cold under the "lamps" and if you wanted to eat later during the sitting then you would definatly get cold food.
The pools were good but has a sever shortage of sunbeds, you had to claim your sunbeds at about 7am then stay with them untill the rest of your party arrives otherwise people will take your towels off and take the sunbeds.
The evening activities was very very poor and limited. The trouble with this hotel is that its in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing outside the gate so unless you get a bus into Bodrum town then you will get bored.
The animation team will ignore you unless you have a teenage girl in your party then they are all over you like bees around honey.
Overall the stay wasnt bad but we will not use this hotel again.

We stayed at the Bodrum Resort and Spa from 17-24 October and had a great time. The resort is lovely, all be it a little hilly, but we were in the main hotel, so it
was a lift ride and about 10 steps to the resturant. We had a 2 bedroom room which was very spacious. The maid could come anytime upto 5pm, and we were back from the pool a couple of days before the room had been cleaned. This was no problem to us, we told her not to worry. We spent most of our time by the main pool, you need to be down before 9 or you were lucky to get a sunbed. We were told by other people that they had seen people getting up at 5am to go and put their towels down on beds! Hotel staff are lovely and all very friendly. The Entertainment team are fantasitic, they had us in stitches every night. The food is a bit samey, but was hot and not bad for an all inclusive. There was always something to eat (have a very fussy 16 year old), even if she only had salad and chips (it was only for a week). Make sure you take advantage of the Spa in the Hotel, was not expensive, i had at 90 minute body scrub, foam massage, arothetherapy massage and a face mask for £40. I would recommend this resort and i would definately return.

I found the brochure to be a little misleading as it fails to mention the steep inclines and number of steps to be encountered to access any of the amenities, the hi
ll to my apartment was referred to by the staff as cardiac hill, my advice to anyone contemplating a holiday at this resort is to ensure that the accomodation is situated in the main hotel complex
The All inclusive menu does not cater well for UK taste, and the stews and casseroles are not replenished regularly, if you are a late arrival to the restaurant there is little choice, The freshly prepared Pitta breads cooked outside of the restaurant are excellent and the only thing that sustained me through my stay, could not bring myself to eat broccoli for breakfast.
The main pool area is very crowded and it is difficult to access or exit the pool whilst organised water sports are in progress, the music is monotonous and deafening at times. Its much nicer to use the pool opposite reception.
There is inadequate outdoor seating in the evenings to enjoy a drink after the meal.

The resort is far away to the other towns you have to travel 30 min to go to the centre.Hotel staff works hard from morning till late evenings on minimum wages which
makes you feel sorry for them.In my short 7 nights stay at least 3 groups of corparate groups arrived which was so annoying as they all knew each another , people going between tables to have a chat on main restaurant and the beaches disctracting people around and making lots of noise.
.Lastly the room was on the ground floor each morning we thought we were waking up to a rainy day, evenings was so cold as the room was below the ground we had to get the winter duvey on while outside tempruture was 25 degres and mini bar was not filled unless i made a call and ask for it!

This was our first time to Turkey as a family and Bodrum was a fantastic place to go but the hotel was a bit of a let down. No it was a massive let down. It was desc
ribled as a 4star+ but if this a 4star+ then I must be out of touch.
The staff were not very helpful and would completely ignore you at times. The food was not very appealing and many nights it was cold. There was a children section but by 8pm it was empty and was not replenished. Most nights it was hard to get a seat in the restaurant.
The sun beds were a nightmare and if you was not sitting on one by 7am you did not get one for the day which is not exceptable. It seemed that the hotel only had enough beds for half of their clients.
In general I would definitely go back to turkey but I would never go back to that hotel or do all inclusive again. It was a nightmare. I find it hard to believe that Thomas Cook can recommend The Bodrum Hoilday Resort and Spa to British Holiday Makers.

my husband and 3 children visited bodrum holiday resort in august this year. can't really fault the actual hotel and faciltys, but as you can imagine, being august t
he hotel was full to bursting. we could never get a sun lounger, as all the germans had claimed them all, even tho the hotel had signs stating that any towels put on sun loungers before 8 a.m will be removed, we couldn't get one even at 7 in the morning!!! The hotel kids club was for foreign children, my son didn't get involved as he couldn't understand the language, which i thought was very poor, as the brochure does not state this!! we just felt as though we didn't belong there! food was ok, alot of choice for adults, but my kids struggled to find anything they liked, and lived on chips and pasta all week, Bodrum itself is beautiful, would go back, but next time in a hotel that caters more for english guests. I don't normally write reviews as i am not a fussy person, but just felt very uncomfortable here, and feel that thomas cook should have pre warned us in the brochure.....

The resort was clean and the staff were friendly. The bungalow rooms were basic and very noisy. The hotel building rooms were more comfortable and quieter. The hotel
is built on a hill and has many steps, which can be tiring in hot weather. There were not enough sun loungers and people were waking up at 6am to get sun loungers. The entertainment was very Butlins! The staff had very little English but were helpful and did make an effort to understand. The staff were great with the children.
I had origanally booked a standard hotel room in the main building but had been downgraded to a bungalow room without any explanation or refund. I have not heard from the costumer service team when I made a complaint within a week of returning from the holiday.

Overall the holiday was enjoyable because we paid for a cheap holiday and thats what we got. Theres plenty of sun, lovely clean pools/apartments and beach(no sand -
decking). The 5 aqua slides are really enjoyable and they serve a good burger and chips from the beach and aqua park. We went in july 11 and everyday it was over 40 degrees needless to say we were melting! The evening entertainment was enjoyable and there are plently of day time activities if you are a joiner! however on the downside the food in the main restaurent is the same at lunch and dinner everyday. We were one of 4 english groups there so all the food, activities and staff are catered to russians and germans and we struggled to find staff that understood english. there is no drinks list and you end up with a different drink everytime you go to the bar. the food was not to english tastes and as my third time in turkey the food was below standard for even turkish hotels and there are very little signs to describe what the food is. be prepared to wait a minium of 90 minutes to be allowed into your apartment when you arrive, as we were leaving at 1am a family had to wait 4 hours to be shown to there apartment and were kept waiting in the hotel bar with their suitcases. the apartments were nice however the aqua park and apartments near smelled of sewage but once the door was locked the smell was bareable. only half the apartments have balconys but the maids replace the towels everyday and keep the apartment clean. although the description says drinks are available 24hours this is only the reception bar everywere else is between 1000-1800 and till 0030 at the entertainment area. You will need strong legs as there are many hills and the pools are a good 10 min walk away from each other and the beach, the hotel is in the middle of know where and dont be alarmed the drive is very suspect to get to and from the airport. i would rate the hotel as a 3 star and if you looking for sun, sea and cheap fun this holiday ticks the boxes

We travelled to the Bodrum Holiday Resort in May half term 2011. The hotel was good especially the 24 hour bar, that was a winner for us! The food was ok, not always
to our tastes but we didn't starve. The location was out of the town which made it nice a quiet, though the taxi and bus stop right outside the resort and it was quite cheap to get into Bodrum. The staff were pleasent and the Turkish Bath was amazing! As the week went on the hotel got quite busy and trying to get a sunlounger was quite hard but the staff would always try and find you one. Bodrum itself was quite busy and there were a large range of bars and restaurant. Definatley a good place for a last minute break!
