Worst staff we've ever experienced!! Having just returned from a weeks stay at the Kremlin Palace I can honestly say that it is the worst hotel I have stayed at across the Europe and the World. The positives :- Nice big pool area Lots of sun loungers Free room safe Free pool towels Spacious room Room cleaned every day The Negatives:- Staff do not speak or understand basic English Staff blatantly ignore you if your British to serve other nationalities first, this is all staff from Reception to Bar Staff and Food Hall staff We were told that they don't serve ice at the pool bar despite seeing ice been given to Russian Guests Food was very basic and repetitive and on most occasions the food was cold, catered towards Russian tastes. Be prepared to use force when in the food hall as you will be pushed out of the way as other nationalities like to jump queue, elbows come in handy Bar Staff literally bang your drink down when serving you - not done to the Russian Guests though. Pool Entertainment is announced in every other language then English. Member of food hall staff knocked my partners food all over her and failed to stop just walked off. 3 members of food hall staff play fighting during evening meal, one of these being a senior member of staff due to wearing a blue shirt rather then a white shirt - unprofessional Nothing is priced in Turkish Lira and when you ask for the price in Lira the staff look at you like your stupid, never known a company that doesn't want the currency of the country. This is something you should look at seriously. Upon arrival we was met by two Receptionists who could not speak or understand English, all they could do was point at the registration card, could not explain what parts were relevant to be completed. For a big hotel chain such as WOW then it should be a necessity that the first people you are greeted by can speak or convey the basics in most languages. When attempting to check out we was blatantly ignored by Omer on Reception, this was the same member of staff who greeted us. Having been stood at the front of the Reception desk he served Four other people who were behind us including one who passed his documents over our heads, not only is this ignorant and unprofessional I would say this borders racism. We were eventually served by another member of staff 20 mins after being at the front of the queue. If you are British then I would recommend that you book in to the sister hotel next door at the Wow Topkapi Hotel as the staff are friendly, speak and understand basic English, the entertainment team are fantastic and attempt to get everyone involved, there is more choice of things to do and eat & drink. We also attended the Titanic Hotel for a family wedding, and had access to all the facilities and once again we were greeted by friendly happy staff who also spoke basic English and attempted conversation with you. Would I return to Antalya? Yes without doubt but I would not go back to the Kremlin even if it was a free holiday. Having stayed in various countries worldwide I have never felt so unwelcome in my life. If the Kremlin Palace do not welcome British Guests then they should not offer this hotel to British holiday companies. September 10, 2014
not so good holiday overall the hotel was good but I wouldn't go back, the hotel rooms weren't really nice. The food wasn't good either as there was hardly anything nice to eat but the entertaining team were fantastic and the activities at day and night time were really good. June 20, 2014
Food good staff unhelpful and at times rude especially reception staff who barely looked up when you asked a question s The food and pools were good although you had to get there early before other guests disappeared with plates piled high out of the restaurant extra charge for a la carte which was not pointed out at time of booking never once offered a drink not a place where you could enjoy the food as felt you were being ruahed. Went on a trip and it was awful May 12, 2014
All amenities available to people using wheelchair or with walking difficulties I would give five star plus to the kremlin staff,I had excellent room, towelling robes slippers, ground floor, disabled access to wet room,I had forgotten to pack some medication I really needed, went to customer relation office Izobelle head of office ordered them for me in 2 hrs I could pick them up at her office,The staff were very professional and very caring that all holidaymaker have the best holiday experience they can have . Nightmare holiday Worst holiday of my life! Thomas cook need to take out of brochure August 6, 2013
wont go back to this hotel The overall holiday was good but was let down by standards of staff. When sitting for our meal at night we had to ask someone to get us drinks on a few occasions had to go up my self or help myself for wine at diner time. When i left the table to go get my sweet my table was cleared before i got back and someone else was sitting there this happen a few times which my daughter and i found really hard. December 15, 2012
Great place for a relaxing holiday Very big hotel laid out over a large area. Very clean and well maintained. Staff helpful and polite. Be prepared to come in contact with exremely rude Russian holidaymakers. Thankfully no sunbed wars as there were always plenty available. Entertainment was not well advertised - aimed more towards Russian sports organisations who were also staying at the hotel. Disapponted that I was refused a late checkout as it seemed like a day less to be able to relax before travelling home and facing a 3 1/2 hour delay at the airport. October 19, 2012
