Family of 3 including 10 year old son. Resort was brilliant. Very very safe, food of a very high standard - something for everyone with the menu changing daily. Your room was cleaned every day and the staff were very attentive. Family entertainment every night was enjoyable. Would recommend to families.

Beach on your doorstep, waterlides for all ages, food fantastic and such a variety for even the pickiest of eaters, great kids facilities (play park/pools/kids clubs), would definately go back given the chance.

If air con matters to you on your holiday do not go to the paloma grida if it does not this hotel is fantastic. Also if you have little ones who wake at first light i would ask for blackout curtains before you go as they are not in every room.

We were disappointed as to how this holiday could be given a 5 star rating. Although the all-inclusive resort was clean and tidy, we were very disappointed at the standard of our accommodation, having a balcony which was only usable by one guest at a time. I find it incredible that the holiday can be classed as "All Inclusive" and yet we were expected to pay for ice cream outwith meal times!! Also the advertised "imported Spirits" were not apparent at any time. The Buffet food in the main restaurant while edible, was almost identical every night, and the A La Carte Restaurants were very difficult to get into. On the few occasions we did manage to get a table, the food was generally of a better standard. The limited evening entertainment was also of a disappointing standard. On a positive note, our grandson of 8 had a great time as the swimming pools, slides and beachfront location were all to his liking.

Wonderful hotel. Travelled abroad on numerous all inclusive holidays and this hotel takes a lot of beating. Only one thing I would comment on about the hotel was at night because things are laid out so far apart there lacked somewhere to cool off. No air conditioning anywhere apart from ones room which did mean we were in bed early most nights to cool off. On the whole the holiday was brillinat. Food was amazing there was something for eveyone.

My wife and I spent 12 nights in June at the Paloma Grida and we really enjoyed ourselves. As Trip Advisor says, you can be given a dodgy room when you arrive, we were put in a disabled room, but a quick trip to reception changed this and the room was more than adequate. It had plenty of storage, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom although old was clean and it had a good shower.
The food was very good in the main restaurant and we especially liked the food cooked on the outdoor grill as the meat was very tasty and freshly cooked in front of you. We also tried the Chinese, Fish and Turkish restaurants and enjoyed them all, although for us the Turkish restaurant was the best. Don't forget the Patisserie in the Zomm bar in the afternoon!
We tend to stay away from daytime entertainment, preferring the piece and quiet, but there seemed plenty on to keep people amused and the Kids club seemed well equipped and the girls seemed very keen and eager, and often soaked to the skin!
Evening entertainment was very good, starting with the Kiddies disco (not that we saw it) and then the entertainment in the amphitheatre was very good with professional acts often coming in that were of a very high standard. Then it was off to the Zomm bar where live music was played. The two guys who play on Tuesday's and Friday's were especially good. There was a disco down by the beach after that, but we never got there. It was also good to see that all of the entertainment staff were always around, encouraging people to get involved but weren't too pushy in their approach.
We only booked it 2 months before we went and didn't know it was a Mecca for golf until my wife looked at Trip Advisor. Being the wonderful wife that she is she let me take my clubs and I played 4 fantastic courses: Sueno Dunes, Cornelia, The National and Montgomerie. I'm an 11 handicpper and yes they are tough but they are a true test and I would recommend people playing them as the conditions were excellent. Be prepared though, the clubs are not cheap when it comes to buggies, drinks, etc and it does seem that the golfers are fair game for inflated prices.
