Izmir Airport is to the north of the Aegean Coast and serves the resort of Kusadasi amongst others. Flights to Bodrum, which is by far the busier of the two airports due to its proximity to the most popular Turkish resorts, will take around 4 hours from the UK.

Served by flights to Dalaman Airport, Lycian Coast resorts include: Icmeler, Marmaris, Dalyan, Fethiye, Hisaronu and Olu Deniz. There are a great many flights to Dalaman airport, particularly in the summer months and, being slightly further east along the southern Turkish coast flight times from the UK will be a little over 4 hours.

The resorts along Turkey's Mediterranean Coast include: Kemer, Antalya, Side, Lara Beach and Alanya. All these resorts are served by Antalya Airport, and Antalya flights from the UK are around 4 hours 15 minutes. As with the other Turkish airports, there are many more Antalya flights in summer than in winter.

Although you should check as you’re searching for your Turkey holiday which specific UK airports fly to which Turkish airports, at the time of writing, if you were looking for cheap flights to Turkey then you could fly from Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster/Robin Hood, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds-Bradford, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich or Stansted depending on which resort you wanted to visit.

Please note that you will have less UK departure airports to choose from during the winter holiday season, although there is still a better choice of flights available than for many other holiday destinations.
