Chilled and relaxed after holiday at Les Orangers Just back from 2 week stay at this hotel. Arrived late at night and offered food and drink. Had 2 rooms as was late booking this year but not a problem as next door to each other. Ample wardrobe space, beds comfy and bathroom well stocked and cleaned. Maid service excellent. Hotel and grounds are well maintained. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Great to have free FAST wifi access. Spent our 2 weeks on the beach, well maintained and very close to beach restaurant. Always able to have food and drink around the clock from a variety of places. Choice in beach restaurant very good and well stocked. Waiter staff always happy and smiling, willing to chat. Waiter staff worked very hard in insuring drinks were served either at your table or at the bar. Weather fantastic 30 +. Came here 15 years ago without children and so pleased hotel remains as good - teenagers asking to return next year !!. August 17, 2014
Great Holiday Destination For Couples And For The Kids There ins't really any bad points for my holiday to this hotel, apart from on the first day i had a problem with the air con in the room where it was leaking onto the floor, so i went to the reception and they said they will get somebody in to fix it in the next 2 hours so we went for dinner and then came back 40 minutes later and it was fixed and working perfectly fine. Good points are that they cant do enough for you so anything you need they will do there best to help you out, and the entertainment on a night was fantastic best ive seen for a long time, and the thomas cook rep couldnt help me enough either his name was My hair but i didnt get his last name but he is a fantastic rep so thank you My hair July 27, 2014
Holiday Heaven at Les Orangers Beach Bungalow This was the most amazing holiday we have ever been on. We had a beach bungalow and the waiter service was second to none. They brought us breakfast, lunch & dinner to the bungalow and it was anything that we wanted. The beach was amazing (just outside your front door) and the pools indoor and out were great too. We are going back for our honeymoon next year you can not beat the value for money. A special thanks must to go the holiday rep who was outstanding arranging a day trip for us which wasnt in the standard trips. Truely an amazing place July 16, 2014
Value for money We travelled in a large group, ages ranging from 9 months to 70. The hotel was lovely and the staff we very friendly. Although there were some disappointing aspects; there is limited space around the pool and the beds are taken before 8 am. We were very much looking forward to the a la carte restaurant, however, it was extremely disappointing; the food was cold and barely edible. The main buffet restaurant was not big enough for the number of guests so in the evening the cues where often ridiculously long. The lunch time food was the best with freshly cooked pizzas and freshly cooked chicken fried rice and noodles. The evening entertainment was average some evenings and very poor other evenings. Fantastic value for money Friendly staff, good variety of food and drinks available. Very clean and pretty resort once you are inside the gates. Waiters and staff excellent and helpful. Great facilities and games for kids. Beach excellent, very clean and golden sand. security very helpful ie getting your sun beds for you. Only disappointment was people still reserve sun beds around the pool and on the beech at same time, thus no beds around the pool (although you could see the family on the beech)I would recommend that if they remain unused for a period of time that the pool staff should be allowed to remove the unused towels and free up the beds for other families. Animation team work so hard but the evening shows were a little wooden at times, but their attitude to families was fantastic. All that said we will be definitely going back June 11, 2014
Fantastic staff at a great hotel We stayed at The Orangers for the second time this year, as before we found the staff are what make this hotel fantastic. We traveled as a family with children of 6 and 8 years, they love coming here and spent every day that they could with Arwa at the kids club. She took them to the beach, played games in the indoor pool and took them for pancakes and icecream in the afternoon. My daughter cried when we had to leave to come home! The food is of a good quality, range and plentiful. Drinks are all local but fine, wine with meals I found the rose to be the best. Breakfast is my favourite meal here with freshly cooked omlettes, crepes and waffles. The rooms are a little tired, but we find more than adequate. We find we spend very little time in our rooms at this hotel as there is always somewhere pleasant to sit or something else going on. As long as the hotel continues to be good value for money we will continue to return. June 10, 2014
Great holiday in Tunisia,Hammamet My daughter and I stayed at theLes Oranges in Hammamet for 2 weeks in May. It was our first time in this hotel and second time in Tunisia. Our room was fine overlooking gardens, the whole outlay of the hotel was lovely. The staff everywhere were so nice and helpful.Being right on the beach was the icing on the cake, the only fault was in the dining room where the evening meal was held, the layout was a bit confusing which led to quite large queues at the hot food section( starters on one side and salads on the other side. And hot food in the centre) There was always something you could eat as there was a very good selection of food and amazing sweets. We would certainly return here and can understand why so many people we met return again and again. Recommend for mature couples pre season My wife and I spent a week at this resort from the 21st of May just prior to half term. The accommodation was superb, the rooms were cleaned regularly and flowers and towel displays left on the bed. The facilities were all inclusive as much wine, beer and champers as you wanted and the food had plenty of variety, bad catered for all needs. The beach was excellent sellers were kept near the waters edge and very rarely pestered you. Plenty of shade and only a short walk to the self service drinks bar or the lunchtime restaurant . The staff were very helpful and courteous and the waiters and restaurant staff looked after you at dinner. The only downside to this resort that it might become a bit hectic in high season and self service in the restaurant could be a little frustrating and delayed. Other than that a recommended holiday for families as the children's club and entertainment was available from 1000 - 2100 lots of couples and families who had been to this resort a number of times before. Recommendation in itself. June 3, 2014
