Overview

The Maldives are a stunningly beautiful collection of magical tropical islands in the Indian Ocean. Clear warm waters, palm-fringed sandy beaches and blue lagoons are the norm in this breathtaking part of the world, and holidaymakers can't help but be enchanted by this luxuriously restful atmosphere where holiday dreams come true. The Baa Atoll is approximately 130km northwest of the capital Male and is one of the few places where arts and crafts are still practised. There are five resorts within the Baa Atoll and it even has it's own in house doctor. The Atoll's coral reefs are famous for its large mantas and reef sharks which visit during the southwest monsoon (May to July).
