Fantastic Family Holiday in Cap Salou!!
My Family and I had an amazing time at the H10 Mediterranean Village in Cap Salou! The hotel was nice and clean and spacious, as were the rooms. We went half board which was a self service buffet. The food was really good, fantastic selection and the kids had their own little buffet too with a few different things for them to choose from. The only downside to that was that dinner was from 7pm onwards which was a bit late I felt, especially with two young kids. The kids entertainment team were fantastic, they done different activities throughout the day and then had discos and shows at night, My kids loved the discos and 'Daisy' too! The swimming pool area was really nice and there was 3 different pools for different age levels/abilities which was great. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would definitely go back again! :-)

The hotel is located in Cap Salou, which is about 2 to 3 miles from Salou. Cap Salou’s a small quiet resort with not very much shops, restaurants or entertainment.
Please be aware that the H10 reception staff are not very helpful or obliging with any issues or problems that you have, generally they’ll keep referring you to raise the matter(s) with your Thomas Cook rep.
The hotel’s apartments are extremely small and not very well quipped; the small LCD TV has got a couple of British channels including BBC1, albeit the reception signal for BBC1 is very poor. The refrigerator provided in the apartment is quite small, but just to make matters worse the storage tray for storing bottles of juice etc was missing. Apparently that’s the case with the majority of apartments, hotel staff are fully aware of the problem and don’t appear to be willing to do anything about it.
The pool area is reasonable. However, I would advise to get there before 10am in the morning otherwise you won’t get a bed. If any of your children want to use inflatable toys, please be advised you will not be permitted to use them.
The hotel provides evening entertainment, which sadly isn’t worth writing about other than it’s not very entertaining.
Fundamentally, this could be a good hotel it just needs to address a number of key areas not least by starting to invest in the general infrastructure (which looks dated in places) in order to try and get the hotel back to a 4 star standard. Sadly, I’ve stayed at other 4 star H10 Hotels which are of a much higher standard than the one in Cap Salou.

Been 3 times and definately going back again
My husband and i have just returned from the H10 Med Village in Cap Salou, ideal for all, plenty of activities for all ages from toddlers to the elderly, we were at the same hotel last may and was recognised when we booked in again. Thomas Cook Reps Emma and Carl absolutely brilliant, they cant do enough to help and make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, whatever Thomas Cook is paying them it ain't enough, i have travelled with Thomas Cook for many years and would like to congratulate them on the best hotel on a half board basis. The reception was pretty busy when we booked in but didnt have to wait long, the restaurant staff were great, sometimes the food could be a bit cool but who cares theres a microwave available, cleaning staff always spoke to you even when in cleaning the room, we were in a room on the bottom ground great meant no lifts or stairs, entertainers were fantastic, always something on the go, after 4pm they rehearse for whatever show on that night, but they are on the go from 10am, so very well done to Lukasz, Alex, Marcin and all the rest for their excellent work. finally an all over experience it was fantastic and if you ever go to an H10 Hotel remember to pick up you'r H10 card, it allows you 5% discount when you use an H10 hotel anywhere, do it on the complex as it will count as you'r first stay and get bonus points for that stay, when you book you'r next holiday at an H10 hotel give you'r card over and then show it at the reception when you check in
The area its self is pretty quiet but the bus stop round the corner takes you into salou or la pineda
Will be booking our next holiday with Thomas Cook and will be going back to the H10 Med Village
A huge thanks to all involved for making our holiday a huge success

Great family hoilday in Cap Salou
We had a lovely holiday at the H10 Meditteranean Village. The food was excellent and the hotel was well appointed and very clean. The pool area was very busy but we always managed to get a sunbed. The shop was very handy as the hotel is a few miles from the centre of Salou. We all had a great time.
