Great family holiday
Just arrived back having stayed here for 2 weeks with my two children aged 6 and 3 and another group of 5. The hotel was clean, the food was as you would expect in a 3* it was hot and there was plenty of choice albeit it was the same every day for breakfast and lunch and can get a bit boring after 2 weeks. The staff went above and beyond being courteous and helpful. There was entertainment every night which the kids enjoyed lots of animal shows including parrots doing tricks. Not far from the beach albeit hope you are fit as the steep hill climb at the end of the day can be a bit on the tiresome side especially after a day chasing kids about.
The only down side would be the main pool and baby pool are seperated luckily i was with friends but otherwise i would not have been able to split myself as the main pool was too deep for my youngest but my eldest who can swim wanted to go in there. The other downside would be the day of leaving there is one shower which is located in the luggage room so you have people in there locking the door so you are unable to get your luggage until they have finished.
However all in all we all had a fab time and would recommend these apartments

Great get away
We arrived on 3rd January and was surprised how well the staff was greeting us. Everything was great about the holiday even the food was ok (with having fussy children). The rooms were cleaned very early but was a great alarm clock. Also great having the Siam park tickets included in which was amazing for all of us. I would definately go back to the playa olid if we go on holiday to Tenerife.

Arrived here on New Year's Eve
Room not ready on arrival and then only set up for family of four after 4 visits to reception to complain.after 4 hours and 3 visits from the cleaners and the maintenance guy our room was just habitable.
Our rep was nowhere to be seen for the whole week and because of this we didn't get our FREE tickets to Siam Park.
To cut it short I wouldn't stop here if I was paid to which is a shame as the resort itself is very nice indeed but please give this hotel a miss .

Brilliant holiday - but due to the Water Park
The apartments are pretty run down and dated. The furniture reminded me of Butlins. The apartments were OK though and clean enough and spacious. I believe that some of the apartments have been modernised but not the ones we stayed in. I travelled with 4 adults and two kids. The other two adults had a room over looking the road and said this was noisy. We had no problems with or room regarding the noise. Housekeeping is not every day, which would normally not be a problem, however the shower rail is all bent in the middle through wear and tear so you needed the towels to mop up the water on the floor. Not great when you have no clean, dry towels. You do not get enough towels either and what you do get are are very small. Other than that the room was fine and no complaints really.
Pools all OK but due to the make of the apartments you only get sun on one side and these (run down) sunbeds are reserved very early in a morning with towels. We never stayed by the pool at all due to our access to the waterpark. You do need beach towels for the pool and park.
Food was absolutely disgusting as was the service in the (too small) restaurant. Everything was so cheap in products. Squash on a morning instead of OJ, rabbit, ox - I mean who eats those products. There was a grill each night but you really need to double check that the meat is cooked as often it was not. The food is just piled up on not tidied up or served in smaller attractive hot plate inserts. We never tried a lunch but the breakfast and dinner were bad. When folk say there was always something to eat that is true as long as you like bread or chips! Shocking and I am not fussy or expect much from all inclusive. On a positive the salad was ok and there was small ice-cream tubs each night and plenty of fruit which was good.
All inclusive doesn't mean that you get water apart from a plastic cup from the bar. There are no water in the room so you will have to purchase your own from the local shop. Not really a problem though. The bar and all inclusive shut at 2300hrs, not a problem for us as not drinkers though. Bar staff were lovely.
Entertainment was to be expected and nothing to complain about at all. They do like their magic shows however!
Siam Park was brilliant and is what made the holiday. I cannot praise it enough. Quick walk to the free bus, no queues, lots of rides and brill beach\wave pool. We went every day apart from one. I think the majority of our holiday price went on Siam Park. In fairness that was well worth it for the price we paid in total. Be warned the food is really expensive in the park.
All in all a great holiday, value for money and good company with my extended family. I would definitely not stay at this hotel again (due to food only).

Great family hotel
Stayed at the playa olid for one week at Easter . The apartments are really large and spacious with plenty of storage . We even had a washing machine and although we were all inclusive we had a full kitchen with kettle / coffee perculator and fridge. Food was more than adequate although the restaurant could get busy. No bother getting sun beds. Proper all inclusive drinks ( in glasses ) on a night time .great location only downside was the noise from the road

Essential break from English winter!
First time at Playa Olid but third time to Costa Adeje. Apartments were clean and spacious - lots of wardrobe space for two of us. We loved the sunbathing terrace above the pool. Great location, within short walking distance of beach and harbour. Cafes and restaurants all nearby and there's lots to choose from. We stayed on self catering basis but never used the apartment cooking facilities, save for the toaster! Costa Adeje has to be our favourite resort in all Canary Islands.

Lovely hotel, clean, good sized, well equipped rooms, good sized pool with plenty of sunbeds. The hotel is based on a hill so may not be suited to everyone, I found costa adeje to be quite 'hilly'. There is some noise from traffic too but nothing serious. Short distance to plenty of bars and restaurant and near beach.
