Rated 4 out of 5 by 1st All Inclusive Holiday. Where to start we are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 & 13 & were here for a week all inclusive- this is definately the way to go. So with having the kids we had to ensure that they were catered before our needs & to be honest there was something on for them everyday if THEY wanted to join in. The Animation team starts from 11am-10pm, this consists of entertaining the kids of all ages doing different activities things for smaller age groups, with small competitions, mini golf, then the adults/teenagers with water polo in the afternoon, then at night they entertain the kids doing Mini Disco, every night had something different, ie: Bingo/Quizzes or bringing in entertainment- singers/parrot/snake shows etc. Sunbeds- there was loads of these. Apartments- this is apartments which with the 4 of us was ample room- double room(with fan) & 2 single beds in lounge area-NO air conditioning, some days could have done with it but didnt worry us. Cleanliness- The place was spotless was always getting cleaned this included the rooms everyday or every 2nd,around pool spotless, dining room was kept spotless tables cleaned with disinfectant every time used, All Inclusive is a MUST for this hotel as you would be putting your hand in your pocket all the time, the times were great 730-10am breakfast,11-12.30 -snacks,1-330-lunch,4-6 snacks,6.30-930-dinner.If you think about 2euros everytime the kids want a drink or snack etc for 7days it would be a small fortune!! Food- Buffet.Different themes every nightie:Italian,Mexican,Canarian,Chines etc & we managed to find something every single night, we dont go on holidays to eat the same food as in Scotland so will try something new. Kids founf something every night,.Contrary to some of the other reviews about the meat being tough this is total rubbish most nights there was chef cooking it to your needs. The last thing I would say its not a 4 star but high 3 star. October 12, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great holiday in tenerife We went to Green Garden Apartments in Tenerife - !st October 2012. We decided to book this holiday for a week and wished we had booked for two weeks, our daughter who is 6 really enjoyed herself, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food was good and always had plenty on offer. The hotel is out of the way and not actually near the town of Playa Las Americas but the hotel put on a free bus to town and beach and also to Siam Park (and both are only about 5-6 minutes away). We would definately go back and plan to go next october for two weeks. I am glad that I did not listen to the other negative reviews. thanks. October 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 beast holiday so far arriving at the green garden resort is a very pleasant and refreshing experience very friendly staff good food and excellent entertainment for kids and adults will definitely be booking for Sept 13 with family and friends coming along October 10, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 Happy weeks in Green Garden We spent two weeks in the Green Garden and we chose self catering. The reception staff were very helpfull and so were the cleaning staff, the room was nice enough for self catering, but the oven in the kitchen was not very good, and there was not enough kitchen utensils, even crockery was basic. we had to drink coffee out of a pint glass. The rool was cleaned 5 days from 7, Day and evening entertainment for children was excellent, we have a 2 and a half year old girl and she had a blast. The swimming pool was always busy but we never had a problem getting a lounger. The mini market in the complex is good enough for all inclusive, but lacked some things for self catering. The prices of drinks in the bar was expensive, glass(approx1/2 pint) of tropical beer was €3.75, and a vodka and lemonade was €6... You are kind of isolated at the green garden as there is nothing in the area, but its only a 15 minute walk to small shops, (with a buggy)!! and its mainly down hill. Taxi from the centre of Los Cristianos or Las Americas was approx €4, After about 8pm there are "ladies of the night" on the main road back up from the town. Eating out in the evenings in the town was expensive approx €40 for 2 adults for basic food, but we found a few good restaurants that did meals €25, We would go back to green garden but probably go all inclusive next time. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great All Inclusive Holiday 1st all inclus hol for the family & would go back.kids ages are 11 & 13 so awkward age to cater for but they were catered for all the time. Staff were friendly, they worked around the clock to keep all kids entertained & to cater for all ages & groups of people. Food-we found something to eat everyday the week we were there, this may be repetitive if there for 2wks. Included in this package was the Siam Water Park which saved us around 350 euros, there was something for everyone there. Accomodation-these are apartments for self catering as well as all inclus so you had all the facilities to hand, they have 2 bedroom aparts or 1 bed aparts with 2 fold away beds which our girls were happy with, aparts dont come with air con so be prepared for being warm however if you open all the patio doors there is a nice breeze comes through. The Green Garden Resort is a good walk from the centre of Las Americas approx 20mins(maybe a bit more) approx 5/10mins in a taxi but we were fine with this as you werent bothered with timeshare touts or looky looky men! Thomas Cook advertise this as a 4 star im afraid its not, i would say a good 3 star with no complaints at all. October 15, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Holiday in Tenerife The hotel was excellent and the staff were very hard working. The food was very good and had plenty of variety. You should go all inclusive as there is very little in the immediate area in the way of supermarkets and restaurants. The majority of the hotel guests were fantastic and managed to control both their own behaviour and the behaviour of their teenage children. September 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by green garden resort the little gem of tenerife I was told about this little gem by a friend,we wanted some where away from all the hussle and bussle from the main resort, and this place it was just the ticket, the rooms were large and well equipped the only down side was my two teenage boys are both over 6ft and the beds in the living area were a touch too small,we were selfcatering which I was glad about as the all inclusive food did not look too great, but overall we would recommend the complex it to anyone, and the complex staff were very friendly and helpful, and the maid service was the best we have ever had,I hope this helps you September 16, 2011
