Great family holiday in Fuerteventura!
We had a lovely family holiday at the Oasis Village in Fuerteventura. The staff were superb, the location was great and the kids loved the pool. We can't wait to go back to the Canary Islands!

Ideal holiday for couples in Las Americas
Stayed at Cleopatra Hotel, ideal for couples, quite quiet & relaxing, very few children! Relatively no problems with sun beds, no early morning rush. We had pool view room, very nice but no sun all day room number 8339, odd numbers in this range to be avoided if you like sun. Bedding & towels changed regularly, free use of cleared mini fridge. Only one slight niggle about the room, there were a lot of tiny insects not sure if ants or tiny fly's, these were on dressing table and bathroom, even though rooms were spotlessly clean they were there to be see, but were tolerable, suppose it is a hot climate.
We were B&B, breakfasts were above average champagne every day if you wanted it!
Location is just fantastic, hotel right on promenade/beach, plenty of restaurants within walking distance cheap or expensive, what ever you want. Plenty of shops designer and others.
This is the second time at this hotel, would recommend it and will be going again.

A lovely hotel in a brilliant location.
Our only complaint we have about our stay was that our balcony was in the shade at all times .The pool was too small for the size of the hotel and there were insufficient sun beds . There was no mirror in the room for make-up etc. and no tea or coffee making facilites. We would think twice about visiting again.

Love Tenerife Has Everything you could ask for
This is the second time we have stayed at the Cleopatra wonderful hotel excellent location just a few steps away from the beach unfortunately since we last stayed the breakfast has gone down hill it used to be the best breakfast buffet in Tenerife now the quality is very poor there is still a lot of choice but the food is tasteless and cold
The WIFI in your room is excellent, the only down side is we got complimentry slippers 5 days into our holiday and dressing gowns 6 days into our holidays also hand cream and both salts did not have any of these when we first arrived but got these after 2 days must just depend on who cleans it and what they have on there trolly

Great Hotel for all in Tenerife
I have just recently come back form a one week stay at the mediterranean palace, I have been to this hotel on three different occassions and it never fails.
If you like the thought of all you can eat I can really reckonmend the breakfast as they serve every think from fruit to a full fry up in the buffet style resturant.
The pool area is spaces and clean with the option of hiring towels from reception.
The room are very spaces and really clean the only down side is that some rooms need a bit of paint and repair.
Overall I really reckonmend this hotel and i am looking forward to going back next year

Holidayed at this hotel for the second time, the first being with our 16 year old son in 2009. We decided to return this year as it was our first 'child free' holiday. Usual Thomas Cook flight out - no movies anymore - why did they stop this??
Efficient check in at hotel - our bags were taken straight to our room where the workings of the free safety deposit box were explained to us. We requested that the mini bar be emptied and this was at a cost of 40 euros. We were also provided with wine and chocolates. We had a pool view room on the 3rd floor which got the sun in the afternoon so was very pleasant sitting on the balcony after a hard days sunbathing. The hotel is lovely, set right on the beach and in an ideal location. Many shops, bars and restaurants at the back of the hotel only a few steps away! All staff at the resort were pleasant and helpful. The pool area was much busier than our last visit in October 2009 but no problem getting a sun bed. There were a few of the usual suspects putting towels on loungers but these were moved by the pool staff. The swimming pool was not policed as well as our last visit as lilos were allowed in the pool and ball games were in there too. We sat at the far end of the pool area to avoid the noise. There seemed to be a different clientele at the Cleopatra this time - definitely more children and a large mix of nationalities. We were on a bed & breakfast basis and the breakfast was slightly disappointing - most mornings it was cold - this was a real shame as there was a good selection of food and it would have been really enjoyable if breakfast had been a lot warmer. We were just looking for a relaxing holiday and the Cleopatra did provide this but maybe next year it will be time to try an adults only holiday.
