Excellent service and the position in Costa Adeje is ideal for beach and shopping
Hotel made us feel very welcome from arrival to departure. We booked a duplex suite and were allocated a 2 bedroom family suite with fantastic views to La Gomera one way and the mountains another. A couple of problems with the safe were resolved within half an hour of reporting them and staff generally could not have been more helpful.
Lots of sunbeds available - some were reserved, but this really didn't cause an issue in February. The heated pool was really appreciated.
We were on bed and breakfast - the buffet was extensive and we had no trouble finding a table even at popular times.
The location of the Anthelia is excellent with direct access to the promenade.
Only slight negative was the internet speed - we always managed to log on but it was very slow.
Together with efficient flights and private transfers, we felt that we got good value for money all round.

Brilliant location, hotel & service
Although it was a fantastic holiday, the soundproofing in the rooms could be a lot better. Our first few nights were really quiet, as the people next door were, after that it was pretty noisy as a family moved in.
Trip to Loro parque through rep: Loro parque lovely, coach there and back not so good. We were told it would take an hour to get there, it took 2 1/5. Need to be told about length of time for pick ups. We would have gone independently had we known, as it kind of spoiled the day.
Apart from that, the best European holiday we have ever had. We didn't have to ask for one thing in the hotel, it was all done automatically. Would not hesitate to go again in the future.

Lovely hotel - few too many children (even not in school hols) for my liking
Lovely hotel and some great places to eat near by (as well as some dreadful ones!) - check out monte christo, it's incredible!). Good pool area, nice breakfast and helpful hotel staff (never saw a rep)
As a young solo traveller there were a lot of children around which would be my oly complaint - the hotel has an adults only area but rooms there were extremely pricey especially when you've already paid a single supplement

Thomas flights let you down
We went to the above hotel for the second year running and enjoyed it very much apart from some minor repair work to the pool area. What was disappointing was Thomas cooks totally unprofessional and amateur approach in flying us . This included changing flight times , sub contracting to flight companies who can't even get a plane in the air which resulted in us reaching our hotel in the early hours of our second days holiday
This was further compounded on our return flight by having a laptop damaged in our luggage . When we contacted Thomas cook , they remarked we are Thomas cook not Thomas cook airlines and when I contacted them I was informed I need too speak too swiss port , nothing to do with Thomas cook , they take your money then that's it - be carefull
