Rated 4 out of 5 by Bahia Babe Very enjoyable holiday in Tenerife
Having just returned from a week in Bahia Principe Tenerife after recent holidays at 5 star resorts in Dominican Republic, Mexico and The Maldives my party were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms very comfortable. Having read previous reviews on trip advisor detailing very hard beds we found them very comfortable. I guess this is personal preference. The selection and quality of the food in the buffet and a la carte restaurants were very good and did not seem at all repetitive during the week, however I would have preferred a better selection at the pool snack bar for lunch. It consisted of hot dogs, pizza, toasted sandwiches, crisps and olives and was the same every day. The sister hotel Costa Adeje had more choice and if this was offered at the Tenerife would greatly improve the facilities. Comments on trip advisor also mentioned a shortage of sunbeds, we did not find this to be the case but we were down reasonably early every day and at the start of the week the hotel was quieter. As it got busier later in the week I can see this could be an issue particularly in high season. We also felt like we were being pushed off them too early by staff moving them back into position way before pool area closed every evening. Great selection of all-inclusive drinks but rather than be available so early in the day I would have preferred bars to be open until at least midnight. All in all though we really enjoyed this holiday and I would consider returning if I was looking for another all-inclusive short haul break.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Janart3 Very restful holiday in Tenerife
Once we had mastered the complex layout of this Hotel (three different lifts from reception to get to our room!) we had a most enjoyable stay at The Bahia Principe Tenerife. All staff were extremely polite and most helpful. Food/drinks varied. Remote location.

Rated 5 out of 5 by suzypoodle fabulous family/group holiday in temerife
Been back a week and miss the place so much ! Fab variety of food in buffet restaurant and the a la carte restaurants to die for. We were in a group of 16 people ranging from 16 to 60 we had a ball. The entertainment in main hotel nice but at 11 pm it stopped we ventured over to the fiesta bar but apart from the karaoke night it was poor. However we didn't need it as made our own up so certainly wouldn't put us off and it was only April ! The staff were so polite nothing was a hassle the drink was on tap (alcoholic and non alcoholic) There was some nice walks round and about very hilly but scenic. The rooms in the main hotel were huge all with a jacuzzi bath total luxury a porter takes your bags to the room (a bonus) Getting a sun bed was ok although had to put towels on early (one of my bug bears!) but when in rome etc..... Totally reccomendable and enjoyable i will be going back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lisah78 Great hotel, appalling flight
Great hotel and food. Flight horrendous as cramped and a 2 year old constantly kicking back of seat and crawling under my seat and running I and down aisle. Cabin crew initially asked parents to control child but then said only worry about him you relax whilst he ran riot. Totally onconsiderate nod unprofessional staff allowing this to happen on a 4.5 hr flight, will never fly Thomas cook again

Rated 5 out of 5 by DianeB1957 Relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings.
The Bahia Principe Tenerife is a great place to spend a relaxing holiday. The hotel & grounds were spotlessly clean & the food was plentiful & of a good standard.
You are able to use the facilities & bars of the Bahia Principe Costa Adeje which is adjoining, the only restriction being you must use the buffet restaurant in the Tenerife. The entertainment in the bars was okay, fairly muted but at least you were able to hear yourself speak. There was also a nightly show outside in the main square at the Costa Adeje which was good with the highlight being an Il Divo tribute act.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joyful All inclusive excellenence
Just got back from Bahia Principe Playa Paraiso which luckily is well out of Playa de Las Americas (3 miles). Supberb hotel split into 2, We stayed in the Tenerife section at the top of the hill in a junior suite overlooking pool. Can be noisy in the day but you can go to any of the other pools but not the other buffet restaurant at any time nor the Spanish at lunch time. 3 A la carte restauarants per week which is good. Not overwhelmed with the Italian but Asian and Spanish Fab. Return Airport check in a nightmare Pay 15 euros for fast track and save yourself the agony.Duty free more expensive than supermarkets. At the hotel if you want to dine on the terrace you may have to wait but it is worth it.Entertainment good disco empty charges for wifi, No tv on flight (very boring)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pamela28 Lovely Break in the Sunshine
A very relaxing holiday, helped by very good food, good service and plenty of sunshine. It is a shame there are no tea making facilities in the rooms. And six euros is expensive for wi-fi for a day. Some of the entertainment was good, some was terrible.
