Poor Food and Very Bad Mannered Staff
Sol Lanzarotte is a really nice Hotel. Maybe it is only the All Inclusive Guests that are made to feel like second class Citizens. Twice I asked for an empty beer glass in the Pool Bar (as you must do if you want a beer) and twice I was met with really bad manners (and once the empty glass was almost thrown at me) this despite the fact I asked pleasently and with a smile on my face and using local language.
We were happy to pay the extra $150 dollars to upgrade our room to a Sea View, but sad to find out that after paying another $30 for 1 week of Internet acess, it has an Internet speed of dead slow and stop.
I can not recommend this for an All Inclusive Holiday, but I do suspect it would be great if you were pay as you go.

24 february lanzarote holiday
The Lanzarote Sol is very good . We have just returned yesterday. We had a great time . The hotel is very clean. The food is great. Catering for all nationalities. The staff are very helpful. The area is very beautiful. Thomas cook reps were very helpful. Would like to thank the rep at the airport who helped with our boarding passes.and check in. The airport departure area was very busy. Was worried that we miss our plane. On the whole we had a great time. Would love to go back.

Fabulous time in Sol Lanzarote Aparthotel
The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and attentive. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied daily even though told would be weekly. Food was delicious. Such a variety on offer every day, even my fussy son was able to find something to eat every day. The pool was lovely, plenty of sunbeds, beach only a minute walk. Had a lovely lovely time. Thomas cook staff were friendly and always on hand should you need them. Will defiantly book with Thomas cook again.

Great holiday at Lanzarote
eryI had an excellent holiday at Sol Lanzarote hotel in Lanzarote, The staff were very helpful (on top of the job all the time). Great location for the beach. Stayed on an all inclusive basis; food was very good with plenty of choices from around the world. Cleanliness all around the complex was very good.

lovely hotel right on beach front
stayed with my 2 daughters and my one year old grandson, we all had a great time ideal for children and adults. setting was great right on the promanade, walking distance to the larger puerto del carmen takes about 30mins along the prom,we loved this hotel and holiday thinking of going back soon

Somewhat isolated hotel if not going all inclusive
This holiday was taken in the hope of getting away for a cheap week in the sun. Unfortunately for us, the sun wasn't out much and weather was very overcast with lots of cloud and rain most days, it was first week of November though so better than the UK! Is was possible to sit out at the pool for a few hours over midday, that was however if it was possible to bag a sun lounger. The latter not an easy task when the german guests get up at 6am to put towels down, no joke I've never seen anything like it! We stayed self catering and the apartment was well equipped and absolutely spotlessly clean, our cleaner was in daily and really good. The hotel complex itself is big and set out for AI guests, couple of good supermarkets within 2 minutes walk which is handy but the main resort of Puerto del Carmen is 4 miles away, took us 1hr15mins to walk there, flat seaside promenade the whole way. Taxi costs about 4 euro each way, taxis plentiful and clean. Resort centre is really tacky but some nice restuarants amoung the bruck. This island reflects nothing of 'real' spanish culture or food so do go if you want a cheap package to the sun but don't set your expectations very high.
