Following a refurbishment in 2013, the Ficus Apartments have been introduced to our smartline range from May 2014. They're a great choice for customers looking for good quality accommodation at an affordable price.

The spacious apartments now have a modern look and feel with contemporary décor and furnishings, a perfect place for relaxing after a day by the pool enjoying all the facilities the hotel has to offer.

Please note: as there are no lifts in this low-rise complex, it is not suited for guests with mobility difficulties.

Airtours Kids' Clubs are located at the El Trebol hotel which is 400m away. Guests will need to take their children to the El Trebol and pick them up. Any guests with children aged 3-4yrs will need to stay on-site at the El Trebol, and these guests can have drinks only on All Inclusive at El Trebol while their children are in the Kids' Club.

great holiday The complex and rooms were clean & modern, easy to access. The food was good with a number of options to choose from. The entertainment team Liam, Kimberley & Jordan were great. The staff were friendly. The only downfall were the maid service. I stayed there for a week and the sheets werent changed once, in that temperature you sweat all night and the sheets could o with being changed at least once if not more. June 20, 2014
Great holiday In Costa Teguise I came here with my son who is 2 years old. It was his first time abroad and he loved it here. The staff are so friendly and always around to help with queries. The flats are lovely and very spacious. The entertainment is brilliant at night and during the day there is lots to do around the pool with games and quizzes ect. We did go in Feb but the weather was still great. Its about a 10 min walk to the supermarkets, restaurants and when u walk right through u get to the beach with is lovely. There is also many excursions u can go on. We went to the zoo Rancho Texas Park and I would recommend this. The white tigers are beautiful. All the holiday reps were on hand to answer any questions and were great with the entertainment. I would recommend this and will definitely be come back again. June 7, 2014
good but could have been cleaner Staff were helpful. Food was good, lots of variety. Rooms were simple you have to hire a kettle, there's no cutlery in the room or plates. Rooms weren't cleaned very well, or very often. Doors look like they have been attacked a few times and the door sticks because it doesn't close very well. A safe is in the room but costs to use it. Pool is freezing, I'm not exaggerating its like ice water even in 28 degrees heat, so beware for small children it will take your breath away. Cats live in the surrounds they are friendly and not invasive... Bar was good for children's entertainment up until 9...it is aimed for younger children, my kids r 10 & 11 so they weren't interested. Overall i would recommended it we had a lovely time and the local beach is beautiful, there's local car hire places nearby, and other local bars and food places like cactus jacks which was lovely. There's free wifi in the reception area. May 10, 2014
good holiday had a week in the Ficus apartments with my husband and 14 and 10 yr old boys. Hotel clean and tidy and not too big. Not enough new sunbeds for guests and people putting towels on good sunbeds before 7.30 in the morning which was annoying. Food good but not a huge choice especially in the desert section, quite limited compared to other hotels. Entertainment OK a bit slow at times, Entertainment Reps were good. Apartments were about 10 minutes walk from a lovely beach (no sunbeds on beach) and shops/bars. Enjoyed the week. April 23, 2014
A great first family holiday We stayed here in late November not the hottest time of year but lush weather regardless. The pool side and main areas where always kept very clean and tidy, the dining room was light and very clean but not enough seats for the amount of guest staying, but they where expanding it while we where there. The food was ok if your not a fussy eater, it could do with a new menu the same things where often repeated altho fresh it got boarding and trying to keep two teenagers happy at meal times became a bit hard, but there's a few nice places to eat out so not to bad at all. A must try is the steak house next door to cactus jacks, and if you need a dance about or a sing song on the karaoke cactus jacks is the place to be, there's also a spar very close to the ficus and only a short walk to the beach and shops for all your nick knacks. This was our first family holiday and I must say it was the entertainment staff that took this place to another level, we arrived just at the right time the summer entertainers where leaving and winter staff replacing them. Alex and Zowie (the new staff) gave 110% every day and night to get everyone evolved and they made everyone feel welcome and relaxed, we often planed our evening around the entertainment so we wouldn't miss a good laugh. I would defo book another holiday with Thomas Cook and that's just down to the entertainers. February 28, 2014
first holiday a board in lanzorate first time aboard the staff very friendly and the locals was really helpeull i would love to go back there February 26, 2014
great holiday, will return never been on lanzarotte before picked the ficus from pictures on line the actuality was better, staff were very helpful and cheerfull and rooms were clean and tidy, maid service monday to friday the entertainment team were brilliant and worked their socks off to please everyone It was also easy to chill out, as we done, no one forced you to do anything food was very good, and plentiful we are looking for an AI holiday again here, on the last night the entertainment team put on a show, and I think I've cracked a rib laughing!!! X factor eat your heart out! I would recommend the ficus as there was a good mixture of age groups who enjoyed themselves looking forward to going back February 16, 2014
Cheap and cheerful Apartments basic, small but adequate kitchen area but all pots pans kettle etc have been removed - they could have at least left the kettle! We got three small cups, plates and glasses. Fridge had a small freezer compartment which was great for making ice. Food was repetitive but tasty, entertainment staff worked hard, hotel staff were pleasant and kept busy! Our accomodation (block 4) was away from the entertainment on an evening and we were not disturbed by any noise. Wifi available at 12 euros for three days or free in the reception area. Pool cold but very clean as was the pool area. Sun beds uncomfortable but a quick trip to nearby shops for a lilo sorted that. Nearby pubs and spar shop down the road. Hairdresser / beautician for pedicures manicures etc next to Spar shop. To sum up - cheap and cheerful February 16, 2014
