Golf Trip Hotel clean, for good. The position is at the top of a very steep hill. There is not much within walking distance October 11, 2012
recommended Perfect location away from the hussle and bussle of night life, but not too far away if you wanted it. Great for children 5-15. Good variety of food and very plentiful, buffet dining was casual even during evening dinner but you could dress up if desired and not feel uncomfortable. The rooms were very basic but clean. On occassion it was noisy at night especially after the nightclub closed. day time activites good, pools fantastic! Evening Entertainment not so great but not awful. Do your homework when it comes to excursions. Taxi's and buses are very cheap to use and most things are very accessible but using the Rep lead trips can be costly and very rushed. Wished I'd gone to Mogan under my own steam. Watch out for the knockoff designer bag vendours, they are very pushy and can be quite rude when you refuse to buy or even look. San Agustin is a lovely place to visit and i would definitely go again. May 5, 2011
Ideal for relaxing and quiet holiday The acommodation is basic and could do with some redecorations. But the facilities at the hotel are good and the entertainment programme is excellent. Everyday there were sports and games and my 12-year old son was kept well entertained. There was a wide range of food choice. The dining hall did feel a bit 'samey' day after day. But during the day there was also food served outside - pizza, chips, salad, etc. The bar staff poured generous measures of spirits and the wine and beer was self service. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and the animation team worked so hard and provided great entertainment in the evenings. The hotel is close to the beach - but you do have to be fairly fit and mobile to contend with the stairs that lead down there. As we were looking to have a quiet and relaxing holiday this was ideal. good winter break on arrival at our accomadation my wife and I did not like the outlook from our room carpark&dustbins. we got the room changed good start nice room overlooking the gardens the food in the restaurant was fine (gents take no notice of long trousers) it was slean but basic good selection of food. the all inclusive bar closes at 11.p.m and no drinks served after that at all. if you wanted to sit in a quiet lounge area there is none there is no t.v if you want to watch your football. the garden areas are well kept &tidy if you want a sun lounger you will have to get up early they are right when they say it is at the top of a hill but there are plenty of taxis. there is a precint about 30 minutes walk away it takes about i hour to walk to playa del inglis about 5 kilom. or catch the bus at the bottom of the hill. toget to the beach there are about 155 steps down to it or go down the hill. OUR SILVER ANNIVERSARY HOLIDAY OUR STAY AT THE INTERCLUB ATLANTIC WAS ON THE WHOLE VERY PLEASANT. THE HOTEL GROUNDS WERE GREAT ALTHOUGH THE POOLS WERE COLD THEY WERE NOT HEATED. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, BUT THE DRINK INUT THIS SHOUL MOST INSTANCES WAS IN OUR OPINION WAS OF POOR QUALITY. OUR ROOM WAS IN THE TARA BUILDING AND WAS VERY COMFATABLE THE ONLY DRAW BACK WAS THE NIGHT CLUB WAS IN THE SAME BUILDINGAND ON OCCASSIONS GOT A BIT NOISY WHEN THEY TURNED THE PEOPLE OUT. WOULD WE STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN "NO" MAINLY BECAUSE IT WAS A LONG WALK DOWN THE HILL TO THE BEACH. BUT WE DID HAVE A GREAT TIME ON OUR FIRST VISIT TO GRAN CANARIA B April 10, 2011
deja vu good holiday again! going twice a year most years now and we love it! February 10, 2011
Good Holiday Second visit here. Chose to come again as we enjoyed ourselves last time and it was very good value. We have recently been going to adults only hotels, and although this hotel isn't, we did manage to find a very quiet area to sunbathe in the spacious grounds. The activity schedule was not as good as last time so that was disappointing for my husband. Food was excellent and there was always ample choice. All in all a relaxing break and good value. Cheap The hotel was well located, the room was spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was easy to make interesting trips around and the view was great. These are the main things we expect from a holiday. However it also looked as if somebody up in the management was trying hard to squeeze a few euros more, and seeing them so cheap makes one feel uncomfortable and it is not what you are looking for in a holiday. Rusty towel rails do not look good and surely a can of paint does not cost that much. The cocktails in all inclusive were a bad joke. No fruit to buy in their shop and they were stopping people coming out from the restaurant with an apple in hand!!! The "fruit" fizzy drinks were the worse we ever tasted and this was just to convince us to buy the freshly squeezed orange juice. January 18, 2011
