The best family holiday We have just returned from a 2 wk al stay here from the 1-15 Aug12, we were 2 ad and 2 ch ages 10 & 7yrs. Firstly I would just like to repeat as many have said before this is a 3 star hotel and the hard work that all the staff be it from the hotel or Thomas Cook team is great, I have read the reviews that say that the hotel staff are not nice but if you see how hard they have to work maybe it would not harm some of the people who put them down to try a little harder as by going that little be extra when speaking to them and not being so rude and trying to ask for the odd thing in Spanish it helps and it's fun. Now you must remember you are not in the UK and that is why you have picked this place and what a fun time you can have if you let yourself go as we did !! With regards to the kids club these girls work there socks off!! for the first week there was Lianna & Lauren and for the 2nd week Lauren was replaced with Jodie, both our kids Ollie and Lucy had the best time ever in club playing on the xbox and everything. All the girls are a credit to Thomas Cook kids world and they show it in the hard work they do and how all the kids don't want to leave!! Kids club do hold 3 extra event in the week and if you book and pay for all 3 it is only 25euros for each kid nothing when you think you can leave the hotel as long as you leave you phone number with the girls. If you travel with Thomas cook group please don't think these extra event are free as they are not and no the money does not go to the girls or Thomas Cook it is all for charity so let thekids have some fun but be quick as they can only take 16 kids at ever one time due to the rule!! (Girls enjoy the rest of the summer) The Entertainment team what need to be said about them apart from as many have said before they work very hard from morning till night, we had a fab time there and Adam, Jo, Kim and Stevie Jo helpped made it the best holiday ever!! We all take our hats of to these guys and dolls, they not only entertain the kids but the adults as well and as we all know on holiday adult are just big kids as well looking to have fun in the sun and in the pool!! Every day they put on something new from night time show's for kids and adults to bingo twice a day, while we where there we won 65 euros but people where winning upto 650 euros on the 2pm games with snowball bingo, it may not be your cup of tea but winning cash on holiday is well worth it!! and to be fare they make it look so easy!! and at the end of your holiday they don't mind getting wet in the pool all but Stevie Jo!! so if anyone can push her in!!! she will jump in during the day but she really needs to go in at night after the shows!! The Rep Liam, well what can we say about him!! Nice guy know's alot about the resort always up for fun, shame not a lot of guests don't go to the welcome meetings as even if this is your 10 or 20th time here he will always be able to tell you something new so please give his welcome meeting a try on 30 minutes not long it is never to late to find out something new. (Have a look at the enterainers board and see him as Mr Broncemar!!) Palo the life guard / First aider while we where there Our son had a cut to his hand and I can say this he has never been so looked after once he dressed the wound he made sure he saw my son for the next 3 to 4 days twice a day to redress it and also while there we saw a few other injuries which he dealt with in the same way, he also works very hard as you may of read in some other review yes people get up early to put the towel on the sunbed but Palo will go around a 11am and if you have not used the beds he will fold your towels up and put them to one side allowing others to use them. While there he also was reapplying anti slip to the tiles around the pools as you can imagine when at hotel is all year round this does need to be do from time to time, yes people do slip sometimes even I did but what do you expect when people are in and out of the pool and then putting on the sun cream so you do need to take care and tell the kids no running!! The reception staff are great if you have any problems just tell them at the start don't as some people do leaveit till you see the rep the next day or at the end of your stay. You will find once reported things get done :) The Bar and Resturant staff are rushed of there feet they manager who looks after this small team can be found in there doing breakfast then direct to the bar to open for 11am and then back later in the evening so give them the time of day and they will thank you for it they are busy busy busy!! The rooms we found where great we where there for a holiday not to watch TV in the rooms, the cleaners came in 5-6 times aweek sheets changed as stated once a week and towel around 5 times aweek, again they work very hard to cover so many rooms. The food was great always a mass choice from breakfast to evening meal if you go there to be on a diet you will be in the wrong place as there is so much choice, right down to the grill off an evening, if the kids just want chicken nuggets and chipp they can have that and if they like to try a bit more each night the theme changes so try it all!! The pool bar also has a great choice and if they run out just ask the staff and once the fresh food is ready they send out asap. All in all we had the best time ever here at the Broncemar and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone. Can't wait to see you all next year!! October 13, 2012
Perfect family holiday This years holiday included 13 family members ranging from 7-70 The Broncemar Beach caters for nearly everything. We have been visiting here since it was first opened in 2001 and we love the spaciousness of the apartment which you do not normally get when AI. It is a bit tired now but I noticed some of the apartments are being refurbished which is a good sign. The staff are very helpful and when I asked if I could have more coat hangers, they were there in a few minutes. We booked 4 apartments, with different arrival dates and they still manage to put us all together every year. This must be a nighmare but so important to us and we appreciate it. The food is varied and well presented, a lot of the staff have been there for years, are very nice and work so hard. The owner/manager is close by so everything is checked . Close to airport, shops and beach, bus stop to the Capital Rossario and Airport nearby only 2eu. Taxis outside if required. Friendly resort, nice prom and a feeling of being safe even in the early hours of the morning. We make new friends every year and catch up with the ones who return. Brilliant. February 28, 2014
fab holiday Overall great hotel in great location. Yes rooms could do with a make over but they are clean. TC entertainment team (3 girls) are fab getting everyone involved from the wee ones to the big kids too from 10am til 11pm. Didn't have any problems with the food there was always something to eat even for the kids. We would most defo return. February 22, 2014
Another brilliant holiday Our 9th year at Broncemar at this time of year (Jan/Feb}. Terrific value for money and another great holiday. February 12, 2014
ideal location, We were impressed with the condition of the apartment . Good condition of the decor and fittings. Ours was 191, looking right down the complex. Far enough away from the activity area for us to enjoy a quiet read. The only down side was the noise/buzz at night from the cooling system for the shop. We were self catering. The supermarket was only two minutes away and very well stocked. English brands if you wanted, though local brands were much cheaper. Hardly even five minutes to the sandy beach. The resort of Caleta de Fuste is very compact . A walk along the beach to the 'museum of salt' is well worth it. We will definitely be back. February 8, 2014
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING COMPLEX, LOVELY RESORT. I Love this resort, but these apartments were so disappointing. Had booked all inclusive, superior room, well that only just brought it up to scratch. Not Superior at all, goodness knows what the basic apartments were like? Food was always drowned in oil, even the rice! We ended up eating out 5 nights out of 7. Stopping All Inc in the Tavern at 10pm is in my opinion a mistake. We then had to move to the Pool Bar, chilly outside and no comfort in the main 'Concert Room'. NO FREE WI FI not that it bothered me, but I heard plenty of moans and groans. CLEANERS...need re-training!! STAFF.... were friendly I would not recommend these apartments. Their location is the best bit!!!! January 26, 2014
Value for money He had a lovely week in Broncemar Beach for less than 350pp(flight and hotel) this is really good deal. Great town centre & beach location. Good food and friendly staff. Internet costs €25 week. Hotel is three star and had a few maintenance issues. However considering price I need rate this holidays as excellent. Thank you Thomas Cook. December 27, 2013
complex now looking very tired, built around 13 yrs ago and in need of TLC to start with the positives, the food was plentiful and on a regular enough basis. I went with four children, three teens and a youngster and they all enjoyed the pools and a bit of entertainment, so job done for them! unfortunately the whole resort for us as adults is looking its age and really is in need of an overhaul. broken bath in our apartment with a chunk of filler in the bottom to plug the hole that someone had made. broken tiles on the side of the bath also. broken marble on the sink surround. this theme is continued throughout the apartment and then the complex. we had to pay for : safe, hairdryer, iron, telly, Wi-Fi and I thought I had paid for all inclusive, very disappointed I am afraid!!!!!!!
