The best family holiday
We have just returned from a 2 wk al stay here from the 1-15 Aug12, we were 2 ad and 2 ch ages 10 & 7yrs.
Firstly I would just like to repeat as many have said before this is a 3 star hotel and the hard work that all the staff be it from the hotel or Thomas Cook team is great, I have read the reviews that say that the hotel staff are not nice but if you see how hard they have to work maybe it would not harm some of the people who put them down to try a little harder as by going that little be extra when speaking to them and not being so rude and trying to ask for the odd thing in Spanish it helps and it's fun.
Now you must remember you are not in the UK and that is why you have picked this place and what a fun time you can have if you let yourself go as we did !!
With regards to the kids club these girls work there socks off!! for the first week there was Lianna & Lauren and for the 2nd week Lauren was replaced with Jodie, both our kids Ollie and Lucy had the best time ever in club playing on the xbox and everything. All the girls are a credit to Thomas Cook kids world and they show it in the hard work they do and how all the kids don't want to leave!! Kids club do hold 3 extra event in the week and if you book and pay for all 3 it is only 25euros for each kid nothing when you think you can leave the hotel as long as you leave you phone number with the girls. If you travel with Thomas cook group please don't think these extra event are free as they are not and no the money does not go to the girls or Thomas Cook it is all for charity so let thekids have some fun but be quick as they can only take 16 kids at ever one time due to the rule!! (Girls enjoy the rest of the summer)
The Entertainment team what need to be said about them apart from as many have said before they work very hard from morning till night, we had a fab time there and Adam, Jo, Kim and Stevie Jo helpped made it the best holiday ever!! We all take our hats of to these guys and dolls, they not only entertain the kids but the adults as well and as we all know on holiday adult are just big kids as well looking to have fun in the sun and in the pool!!
Every day they put on something new from night time show's for kids and adults to bingo twice a day, while we where there we won 65 euros but people where winning upto 650 euros on the 2pm games with snowball bingo, it may not be your cup of tea but winning cash on holiday is well worth it!! and to be fare they make it look so easy!! and at the end of your holiday they don't mind getting wet in the pool all but Stevie Jo!! so if anyone can push her in!!! she will jump in during the day but she really needs to go in at night after the shows!!
The Rep Liam, well what can we say about him!! Nice guy know's alot about the resort always up for fun, shame not a lot of guests don't go to the welcome meetings as even if this is your 10 or 20th time here he will always be able to tell you something new so please give his welcome meeting a try on 30 minutes not long it is never to late to find out something new. (Have a look at the enterainers board and see him as Mr Broncemar!!)
Palo the life guard / First aider while we where there Our son had a cut to his hand and I can say this he has never been so looked after once he dressed the wound he made sure he saw my son for the next 3 to 4 days twice a day to redress it and also while there we saw a few other injuries which he dealt with in the same way, he also works very hard as you may of read in some other review yes people get up early to put the towel on the sunbed but Palo will go around a 11am and if you have not used the beds he will fold your towels up and put them to one side allowing others to use them. While there he also was reapplying anti slip to the tiles around the pools as you can imagine when at hotel is all year round this does need to be do from time to time, yes people do slip sometimes even I did but what do you expect when people are in and out of the pool and then putting on the sun cream so you do need to take care and tell the kids no running!!
The reception staff are great if you have any problems just tell them at the start don't as some people do leaveit till you see the rep the next day or at the end of your stay. You will find once reported things get done :)
The Bar and Resturant staff are rushed of there feet they manager who looks after this small team can be found in there doing breakfast then direct to the bar to open for 11am and then back later in the evening so give them the time of day and they will thank you for it they are busy busy busy!!
The rooms we found where great we where there for a holiday not to watch TV in the rooms, the cleaners came in 5-6 times aweek sheets changed as stated once a week and towel around 5 times aweek, again they work very hard to cover so many rooms.
The food was great always a mass choice from breakfast to evening meal if you go there to be on a diet you will be in the wrong place as there is so much choice, right down to the grill off an evening, if the kids just want chicken nuggets and chipp they can have that and if they like to try a bit more each night the theme changes so try it all!!
The pool bar also has a great choice and if they run out just ask the staff and once the fresh food is ready they send out asap.
All in all we had the best time ever here at the Broncemar and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone. Can't wait to see you all next year!!

Good hotel, but oh those airoplanes!
We stayed as a family of three generations (eldest 68, youngest 16 ... I was the eldest) in the last week of September.
Our flight out was delayed slightly, but not terribly.
The hotel complex has good facilities - excellent swimming pools and bars, a great restaurant (clean, plenty of tables, fantastic variety of good food) and with lovely staff. The Thomas Cook rep, Jo, was wonderful. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, if a little knocked about by previous guests.
I would love to go again, but for one thing: the hotel is directly under the flight-path for the airport, a couple of miles away, and there are times when planes are landing or (worse) taking off overhead every few minutes. To be fair, there are no night flights - planes stop at 10:00pm and don't start again until 7:30am - and there are long periods during the daytime without any, but when they are going overhead, you can't hear anything else.
The resort is nice, with lovely beaches, lots of shops, and nice long promenades for those (like me) who would rather walk in the sun than lie in it. We had amazing weather - almost unbroken sunshine, and temperatures in the mid-to-high-twenties.
Our flight home took off a little late, but actually arrived back in the UK early.

A friend and I decided too book a week away finding this hotel at an amazing price we had decided to go for it. Being two young girls on our own we was put at ease when we found the Transfer was 10-20 minutes if that! When we got there we was greeted by the rep Kelly who put our minds at ease as a quiet resort we was worried about what we could do for fun.
The food was amazing as both of us are very fussy eaters but we still found something too eat, We did have a slight issue with our room but when we asked to be moved we did straight away and the lady at the reception was helpful to us.
I could go on for days about the entertainment! like i've mentioned 2 young girls in this resort we was worried that we would be bored. We met the 3 entertainers Steph, Sam and Jez after our first day and they made our holiday entertaining enough that we didn't need too go out every night! they introduced themselves almost straight away and we didn't have one dull moment when we joined in the activities or played bingo (which we won neither of)
The hotel is 3* plus. People need to remember that's what you are going too get! We did stains on our walls but what do you want them to do? refurbish the place after every person? This place was fantastic and Yes i'd recommend it too anyone! and definately want too go back!!!!

We stayed at the broncemar beach apartments in march this year (2013) we had a great time very nice complex, all the bars and resturants were close by and good value for money. The best beach was a little further down the road but worth the walk, good place to go highly recommended.

A lovely restful holiday
I felt I had to write a review to balance out the negative comments. My daughter and I had a relaxing week 12/1/2013 to 19/1/2013, we both enjoyed the food, lots of choice, great salads and always managed to make up a lovely meal. I think the people who say there is no choice are obviously looking for the same food as they eat at home but the hotel has to cater for several nationalities and it suited us very well!!.
The Broncemar is a bit tired looking in places but this did not spoil our holiday and in the current financial climate I can understand why the place is not having money spent on it.
Overall we both enjoyed a great holiday and I must praise the staff who were very helpful and professional at all times.
As we were all inclusive we only had one meal out for my birthday and we went to The Aberdeen Steak House which was excellent and very good value.

Resort very tired and almost dirty
The resort was very tired we had three rooms, in room 306 was my son wife and there two children age 5 & 9, the room smelt (smoke) and the shower was faulty and very limited hot water for a shower and it had cockroaches the staff were superb new shower head fitted within 15 minutes the smell took a couple of days to go with the aid of air freshener the cockroaches proved a little more difficult we had a daily visit of a cockroach (not the same one) the maid did give a canister of cockroach killer. My daughter husband and daughter aged 3 stayed in 309 one visit from a cockroach myself and the wife was in 310, the bathrooms in all three rooms had black mold around the tiles. There was insufficient room around the pool for the amount of sun beds in the area. We have never had a bad holiday with Thomas Cook this one was very close not some where that i would recommend or return to. This is meant to be constructive observations not a moan and we will still book with Thomas Cook.

I read some disturbing reviews before I went and wondered what I had booked. But I can honestly say I was more than pleased with the Broncemar. We had a brilliant apartment Room 122, it was equipped with all that was needed for self catering. The location of the Broncemar is fantastic, everything you need nearby. The only thing I would say is maybe they should ban drinks being taken around the pool area as some people didnt use the bins provided and plastic glasses were on the floor! but I guess thats us brits letting ourselves down. Would definately go again. The reps were there if you needed any help and the reception delt with your check in very quickly.

Lots of noisy kids!
This hotel is in a good location, the food is a little repetitive but reasonable for the money we paid. Rooms are looking a little tired but are spacious enough. We went in December when kids were in school .. or so we thought! It was pretty much full of them - not sure why they were not in school really. The pools were good as was the reception area and the staff were very helpful there. I think its one of those places that you get what you pay for - would not have wanted to pay any more than we did - we got a big reduction for last minute booking) and will probably look for other accommodation in the area (the Barcello is very good - we sneaked in a couple of times!!) needs must and all that!
