Dont waste your money.!! After a 24 hour flight delay we arrived to quite rude unwelcoming reception staff.. (Not a great start) we eventually found our room in block A apon entering the apartment apart from the dated stained decor and dirty sheets we was also greeted by a cocroach in the room.! Its safe to say we headed straight back to reception who gave us a new room in B block... Condition of the room was the same dirty sheets dirty floors dirty walls. Just disgusting really.. The hobs had no symbols so quite impossible to use (great one) there are 3 pools and 1 life guard who stands around garding the dj deck not the children in the pool..,! No air con and you have to pay yes pay for a little fan.! Its a Joke really. Tv you have to pay for too... Evening entertainment pretty dismal too birds of prey show.. 4 birds came out and u can have your photo taken with them providing you pay £10 euros there and then for the photo.. Even my son noticed the show was pretty pants.! Didnt use the kids club so cannot comment on that. All in all it was not great. NEVER AGAIN.!! August 8, 2014
Not recomended at all First view pool area etc lovely great for children, got to room was dirty and stank of sewerage. ( complained asked to be moved wouldn't let us so asked for it fixed never happened and receptionist just plain rude!) Next upset when booking holiday percifically asked for all inclusive mainly for my young child, luckily brought enough money as to our surprise when we asked where to go for breakfast they said bluntly you don't get it self catering only and with our room stinking of poo to be polite we had to eat out every night and day as the thought of eating in our room made us feel sick we felt dirty just washing in the bathroom not pleased at all don't go here! Oh and one of the pools which was the one my daughter used was out of use for 3 days August 3, 2014
Disappointing stay! Booked a superior room but clearly they don't actually have them. Room was awful, very shabby, old broken furniture, no view at all, sun on balcony gone by 3pm although told there all evening. Food very bland and led to believe you have a choice of restaurant for half board but the pizzeria is not for half board guests not even able to pay an upgrade. Adult only bar closed with no explanation. Outside entertainment area closed as not main season although we went in school summer holidays?? Pool area good but have to get a crack of dawn for sunbed, not my idea of a relaxing holiday. Reception staff very rude although bar and waiter staff lovely. Kids entertainment team are great but evening entertainment that wasn't provided by our team dire! All in all not at all as advertised, Not a good hotel for Thomas Cook to offer. July 31, 2014
Great Break Basic accomodation, nice and clean, great pools, very easy access to water park and main street ( but without being noisey etc). Close to flag beach if you like kite surfing/ windsurfing. Reception staff are soooo helpful, knowledge is great- use them you will be surprised. Family Beach is 10 mins walk. loved it, going back soon one small thing, internet could be better and rooms dont have air con, but value for money- good April 29, 2014
Excellent family holiday in Fuerteventura Just back yesterday after a two week stay at Oasis Dunas. Excellent apartments and Zolo and Adi were brilliant at keeping guests entertained all say and night. They never stopped. Reception staff very helpful sorting out a couple of problems we had. Weather was brilliant. Had a great day at the waterpark. A little expensive but ours girls thorouy enjoyed it so it was well worth it. I would fully recommend the Oasis. ABerdeen steak house a must. Good value for money. Will return again. Whitehouse family x 4. April 27, 2014
great holiday we had a great holiday got back march 2014 room good a216 good position facing the pool excellent value for money staff lovely very clean great location would stay here again got tv 21euro well worth it . April 4, 2014
Lovely Hotel/Holiday would go back tomorrow :) Stayed at Oasis Duna 26th Feb - 5th March 2014 2 Adults and 2 children and had a wonderful time. We had only paid for a 1 bedroom apartment but were given a lovely 2 bedroom which was fab - it was decorated lovely and I am shocked at the other comments about the rooms? perhaps we got lucky ours was great, very roomy we could not fault our room at all and would highly recommend. My only gripe was the noisy people upstairs and I would suggest that the hotel remind people when checking in if they are allocated an upper room that people are underneath them, silly people stomping around with high heels or dragging tables and slamming up the stairs like elephants! That said and to be fair It was only during times when people were getting ready to go out etc, I am just a stippler for silence lol and it did not ruin our holiday at all. We were half board and the food was great for what we paid and saved us a packet. You do not have any drinks included with your evening meal so be sure to budget for drinks when you go in for tea. As a family of four we were spending 10 euro each day for the children to have a fanta and and maybe a beer for the husband and water or a wine for me. (I am not really mean just something you need to account for lol) There were drinks with breakfast, fruit juices, water and hot drinks with breakfast which was a bonus and I think the children ate their whole monies worth in the lovely pancakes. Hotel is in a great location with a choice of directions to walk in, left out of the hotel to the shopping centre where there are different daily markets, craft market, flea market etc or turn right to go down to the main strip with all the bars and restaurants which take you down to the harbour, we dubbed it Spanish St Ives, it reminded us just like cornwall it was beautiful. The bars and restaurants were reasonably priced and you could grab yourself a pint of beer in some bars for 1 euro. Hotel prices were reasonable for a hotel too and they had 2 happy hours a day with beer and sangria on buy one get one free. There are pay as you go computers, a supermarket, a play park for the children, a different pool to go in each day, was a lovely place with beautiful landscapes and very clean. There are a good few things to pay for when you first arrive, if required off the top off my head the prices were around: 26 euro for the safe with 10 euro being returned as a deposit. for 1 week 21 euro for the TV for one week - this was actually worth paying for as we were chilling out quite a lot and here were lots of channels including sky sports, sky movies and children's channels. 42 euro for a wifi dongle for the week if required although there is wifi in the plaza square free between 8am and 12 noon, its a very weak internet connection mind so it may take you half an hour or so to get your facebook notifications lol. Almost all of the bars have free wifi so make sure you ask for their password when getting a drink. The staff were very pleasant and we cant say we came across anyone who was in anyway rude or unpleasant during our whole stay - they are all a credit to the hotel. A big thank you to everyone from the reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff and entertainment team. In short we did not really want to come home from such a lovely peaceful break away. during peak season you have access to the Baku waterpark opposite but that was not open for us which was a shame but we also paid winter prices so cant grumble at that. All in all a good holiday at the Oasis Duna, we would definitely recommend to our friends and we will most definitely try and return some time in the future. Thank you :) Stayed February 2014, travelled with family March 14, 2014
