Dunas Caleta Club, Corralejo Fuerteventura
We have had a 7 day all inclusive stay from the 25th July to 1st of August 2012, at the Dunas Caleta Club, Corralejo Fuerteventura.
This was are 3rd time at this Complex but the first on all inclusive. I have to say we had a great time, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are quite basic, but on the plus side in the 7 days we where there the room was cleaned 4 times which has to get top marks . However the
The complex could do with a bit of a up date.
The was no issue getting a sun bed, and no queuing at the bar the drinks on all inclusive are good.
The entertainment is fine and Gary who looks after that side of things dose an outstanding job.
Now for the not so good bits, which for me is only one, and that's the food, its not that bad, but it is the weak link, and should be better.
But we had a great time and will stay for a 4th time in 2013.

2nd visit, not as good as last year
The main problem at Dunas caleta club is the food which is bland and boring and lacks variety and is often cold, apart from breakfast and the weekly barbecue which are good.
Hotel is cheap and cheerful , Gary the mc is nuts, drinks are ok, rooms are basic and clean.
Hotel is just off main strip with lots of bars and restaurants and a ten minute walk from the harbour.
Main problem was with Thomas Cook airlines, plane going out was very cramped and by the time I arrived in fuerteventura I was crying with pain from my knees and hips, avoid row 40 on Boeing 757/200 at all costs.
Return journey was fractionally better, though a 90 minute delay did not help as some plonker ran a baggage loader into the side of the plane.
Was disappointed that several people on both outward and return journeys were allowed to openly use e-cigs and no action was taken.

Cheap and cheerful
Hotel OK. Food adequate but desserts unimaginatively repetitive. "Entertainment" drove us out of the hotel and into the local bars despite being all-inclusive.
Return flight handled by Jet2 (no explanation) was delayed due to inadequate communication. Pilot missed slot because they were not notified of a passenger's requirement for oxygen. Seating very uncomfortable for a 4 - 5 hour flight.

WOULDN'T GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL
On arrival at the hotel everything looked very nice. The staff were very friendly. We had a very nice room but with poor furnishing . As we had booked all inclusive we should have had satellite tv in the room which we found out we had to pay 48euros for the 11 nts. The food was an abs ult disgrace and the food was cold. The best meal of the day was breakfast but they couldn't even get that right. So for 11 days all I had was a bowl of sugar puffs some melon. Dinner was salad made of sliced peppers cucumber pickled onions ham and cheese. And tea was salad again with a slice of cold pizza. there idea of snack was a cheese and ham toasties which you had to cook your self or a cheese and ham sandwich. The hot drinks machine was cold after about 1 min. So we ended up going out to eat more then stayed in. And then we come to the hotel it's self the map around the pool is 4 yrs out of date. as the hotel has been split in 2 now so the is NO disco bar NO swim up pool the pool is NOT heated and the heath suite you now have to PAY for. So to say we wouldn't go back to that hotel is a very big under statement. And the Hotel entertainment 1st it didn't start till 9.30 then it took an hour to do 1 game of bingo . then most nights it would be a quiz . The 1 night there was a singer on it was very good.

poor apartments,pictures taken ages ago
firstly may we say correlejo itself is the greatest of places for a holiday for all ages especially if you get out and about.
these apartments a very run down in our opinion with a fair bit of money needed to upgrade it.the staff may i say are very pleasant and helpful.
the swimming pool area is packed with embarasing brits indulging in there all inclusive package, whilst we were there we had families putting towels out at 7.00 am and arranginging there sun beds, this was as we felt embarrising to be british.
there were no other nationalities staying here so the entertainment was also the embarrasing bingo and karoke.
we upgraded on one day to all inclusive from self catering but found the food awfull.
we did not use the hotel hardly at all and got out and about around the local area, which is fantastic.
all in all correlejo is a 10/10 resort but the apartments i'm affraid a generous 4/10
