My wife and I have recently returned from this hotel on an All Inclusive basis last week in May First in June .If you are a night owl the hotel is ideally placed with all amenities bars etc close at hand. We found that the food although not a great variety was always well presented and of the highest quality. (Thank you chef's) never went without a meal. The pool area which we spent a lot of time at was again clean and tidy No early towels when we were there. Rooms a little dated but the service and cleanliness again great. The staff of the hotel were always there if you required assistance and would go the extra mile to help. I am afraid I cannot give a review for the entertainment as we were never there to see it. Predominatly return guest when we were there, bias towards British guests.Found the wifi great in the bar area no problems. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you wished to have a quiet and relaxing holiday. Entertainment provided by Mal during day

you get what you pay for at dunas club caleta, fuerteventura
Just spent a week all inclusive here with my family. We had three very spacious apartments that were well equipped but rather old and tatty. The main concern was the amount of cockroaches we spotted downstairs (was very grateful to have first floor apartments, only one cockroach found in the boys bathroom).
The complex is perfectly situated for visiting the town, beach and famous sand dunes, all within walking distance.
The staff were all very friendly but very overworked. Food was plentiful but average.
Unfortunately the pool was too cold and although there were more than enough sunbeds they were all a little bit old and uncomfortable.
Fabulous jacuzzi (wouldn't have known it was there if we hadn't overheard someone talking about it as it was in a padlocked building at the back of the complex)
Entertainment was rubbish but the poor entertainment guy did his best and we managed to have a little fun most evenings.
If you just want a very cheap place to stay while exploring the island and don't mind roughing it a little bit this is ideal but definitely not for anyone looking for luxury and nothing there for kids so not good for families.
Beautiful island, very friendly people, plenty of places to stay to suit every budget. Would highly recommend the island, but would only stay there again as a last resort (pardon the pun)

having just returned from this hotel I must say that on 1st Impressions it looks ok, the Reception area needed updating, the pool area was clean no umberellas, the pool steps were tiled and they were broken, along with tiles on the pool floor, the food was nowhere god enough to class as all inclusive, ham or cheese toasties for snacks all day, the evening meal was poor not alot of choice, the Rooms were ok, all amenities were there for self catering, the bathroom was poor the bath was rusty, and the edge of the bath was cracked.

2nd visit, not as good as last year
The main problem at Dunas caleta club is the food which is bland and boring and lacks variety and is often cold, apart from breakfast and the weekly barbecue which are good.
Hotel is cheap and cheerful , Gary the mc is nuts, drinks are ok, rooms are basic and clean.
Hotel is just off main strip with lots of bars and restaurants and a ten minute walk from the harbour.
Main problem was with Thomas Cook airlines, plane going out was very cramped and by the time I arrived in fuerteventura I was crying with pain from my knees and hips, avoid row 40 on Boeing 757/200 at all costs.
Return journey was fractionally better, though a 90 minute delay did not help as some plonker ran a baggage loader into the side of the plane.
Was disappointed that several people on both outward and return journeys were allowed to openly use e-cigs and no action was taken.

Cheap and cheerful
Hotel OK. Food adequate but desserts unimaginatively repetitive. "Entertainment" drove us out of the hotel and into the local bars despite being all-inclusive.
Return flight handled by Jet2 (no explanation) was delayed due to inadequate communication. Pilot missed slot because they were not notified of a passenger's requirement for oxygen. Seating very uncomfortable for a 4 - 5 hour flight.
