Birlliant hotel, resort, food and staff in Blanc Palace 1
Just returned from a family holiday in Blanc Palace 1, it is a very quiet family resort. Food was fresh and well prepared, fabulous choice. Entertainment staff, bar staff and resturant staff were brilliant, very hard working brilliant. Down side - queues for drinks both during the day, at certain times and at night although they did put on more staff. Would recommend it to any family with young children, teenages would be bored i think, ours are 7 and 10 and they had a brilliant time in the pool and with the pool side activities and the night- time entertainment. Would be happy to go back next year

Very average holiday hotel on a very nice island
Holiday July 2013. 6 adults 3 children 1 baby. On arrival we were placed in the hotel not the cottages. However, one of 3 rooms was still occupied and not available for 2 or 3 hours. Reception staff unhelpful. All they had to say was the occupiers could not be found. Told to wait and we would be kept informed. Needless to say the staff failed to carry out this simple task.
Restaurant manager had the ability to side step any issues including a simple request that the party would like to be seated together. This same issue occurred every day despite being all inclusive and attending every meal time and it all became a bit of a farce having to go through the same scenario day in day out.
On the way into the restaurant we found a broken pint glass near the entrance. Reported this to you know who and it too over an hour for it to be removed.
No chance of a sun bed unless you joined the game and went out early and reserved with a towel etc.
Snacks and coffee / tea were cheap and nasty affairs. Something hot was a "hot dog". The bar drinks were poor quality.
The reps meeting was held in The Cottages ( blanc 2 ). Unfortunately although we were told of the time, the reps failed to mention it took place at a venue other than where we were staying. Even the receptionist was at a loss as to what was going on.
So there you have it poor decor in the room, average food and drink, second rate service. We even took refuge at a pool in a nearby hotel where the atmosphere was on another level. Thank goodness for Italian style.
The one positive were the German girls who ran the children's club. They deserve to be working in a much better establishment.
Have to say though that despite the negatives the bull dog spirit prevailed and we had a great holiday.

Very average stay and certainly not 4 star!
Very average staff and child care service. Person appeared demotivated and uninterested in customer experience. The Blanc Palace us certainly not 4 star. However, the resort of Sa Caleta is perfect for families and very beautiful. Thanks for that u could give small Paul a run for his money! Sun out now and very warm here so to the pool this pm. Just went for a lovely bike ride see photo luv P x We had a great holiday in-spite of not because of Thomas Cook. The cost of £2,500 was widely expensive for the accommodation and service we received.

Great family resort
We stayed at Blanc Palace 2 for one week all inclusive. It was our first family holiday abroad so hoped for a good experience. We were not dissapointed. The resort itself is excellent. Apartments clean and comfortable with much needed air con!!. The pool area was clean with a lovely pool and sunloungers. However you do have to be up early as people put their towels on then very early and if you don't you may not get even one!. The food was good and well cooked but very similar eac day. Althouhg there was a good variety of food to choose from itwas pretty much the same every day and so after a week we git a bit bored with it. I would reccomend this resort and we would like to go back. Overall a great time was had

Fantastic family holiday in Menorca
We stayed in Blanc Palace II (aka Blanc Cottage) and had a great week. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with air conditioning. The hotel was very clean and had a great small childrens pool with little slides and a larger, deeper pool for adults and older children. Food was good, good buffet selection, plenty of choice and pretty good quality. Excellent clear up by waiting staff. Location - very close to small beach (across the road) and 10 mins bus or taxi ride into Cituduella (lovely town). note: when travelling as a family it is cheaper to get
a taxi than to get the bus and you don't have to wait. Also good kids club for the children. Overall would thoroughly recommend this for a great family holiday in a relatively quiet resort.
