 This popular hotel occupies an enviable position right on the beach‚ surrounded by pine–clad clifftops that overlook the beautiful Cala Galdana bay. The spectacular views and high standards of this hotel make it an excellent holiday choice. Situated in a fine white sandy cove, the impressive Sol Gavilanes is a large white property that nestles itself into a cliff, where mature pine trees line the walkways down to the beach below. This grand property boasts an excellent position, located by the sea and within walking distance of Cala Galdana's shops and restaurants. The extensive hotel grounds are a mass of tropical gardens and pinewoods, providing a perfect relaxing atmosphere for your holiday to Menorca. The guest rooms are spacious, tastefully decorate and well equipped with all the modern amenities required for a comfortable retreat.

During the day there is a fun packed programme of activities carried out for residents, with everything on the menu from water sports to land sports and games. Within the well manicured grounds there are two swimming pools, one for adults and another for the little ones, surrounded by glorious sun terraces, ideal for stretching out on and lazing away your days. For those that enjoy being pampered then unwind at your leisure with a Jacuzzi, sauna and massage, while the more active guests tackle a hiking tour around the rugged coastline of Menorca.

The restaurants at the Sol Gavilanes offer amazing food with spectacular views to match. The Bellavista offers a superb range of dishes, presented in a buffet style with show cooking station, Italian Corner and regular theme nights throughout the week. The Es Mirador also has an extensive buffet selection, with show cooking on the terrace where diners can enjoy eating al fresco. The Macarella restaurant is an excellent a la carte venue, where guests can eat in stylish surroundings while taking in the stunning views of the Cala Galdana beach by night. In the evening the resident animation team delivers a programme of entertainment for all guests, with live music in the piano bar and a professional show performed each night.
