Rated 4 out of 5 by vicky31 Great holiday for kids but recommend self catering!!!
We have just come back after staying here for 7 days with my 6 year old daughter. The facilities were excellent plenty for the kids to do. Splash pool was in shallow water which ment my daughter could go in on her own and i could relax by the side of the pool still being able to keep an eye on her. She soon made friends and i felt compfortable when they were together to be able to go of safely on their own. Yes we did have to get up early to get sunbeds but isnt that the same everywhere. I found at 7 am their was still some left in decent spots. The staff were friendly and helpfull. We had a studio which had aircon however apartments don't so I wouldnt recommend them. The room was clean and tidy and you could tell it had been recently decorated. I have read bad reviews about the maid service, however we didnt have a problem. They are only 3 times a week but always changed the towels and sheets. The only complaint i have is the food. At the end of the day it is only a 3 star so the food was not brill. However i did find that most of the time it was warm/cold never hot!!! It was very busy and struggled to get a table some days. I would recommemd selfcatering. We ate out a couple of nights even tho we were halfboard and found some nice places in walking distance. The train is a great service never found a problem of too many to fit on like others have complained. All in all a great holiday but would recommend self catering

Everyone who is knocking this hotel really do need there eyes tested. The hotel is amazing, the food was out of this world. Different very night nearly and so much to choose from. The rooms were clean and were spacious. The pools are really good, yeah you don't get sun beds and got to reserve them most days but what place don't you now adays when it's peak season and busy.! The facilities were good, the entertainment was standard as every over hotel you go to with the typical evening entertainment. Location is out of way abit but the free train drops you right into the main resort centre and beach, taking like 5 mins. I love this hotel and would recommend it to anyone with kids or without to be honest. Going again next year. Really can't fault this resort.

We as a family, 2 adults 1 child age 4) stayed here at the end of June 2012 for a week and it wasn't long enough - going back again this year but for 10 nights. If you read the reviews like me you think oh my god what have I booked, but we had a fantastic time. It's a three star FAMILY hotel. Our room was a studio with air con wouldn't book a one bedroom as you have to hire fans etc and we needed air con in June. It was fine, three beds and a bathroom - that's all you want isn't it. Added bonus a fridge, hob, utensils. It was only cleaned 3 times a week but always done properly. Food was fantastic, my hubby is quite fussy but never complained once. It was always hot and the staff promptly brought out more if it ran out. The staff from the hotel ate in there and they wouldn't if anything was wrong!! There's three places to choose from for lunch and dinner and there is some kind of food out all day. My only fault was breakfast - brilliant selection from hot fried breakfast to cereals and pancakes, but because they only use one food hall it gets very busy. Never had a problem with sun loungers, at 10 in the morning still found some. The entertainment was fine - to me it seemed they had a little budget but the staff made a good show out of what they had. We booked it because there were going to be plenty of kids for our daughter to play with being an only child and there is. If you don't want children don't book. Yes there are some families that drink and let there children do exactly as they please but you'll find these anywhere they were in a minority. This is a 3 star family hotel some people have compared it to Butlins in the sun and I would agree. If you don't want that don't book it.

johnboy1 Good holiday at Boganville
Went here with an open mind having read the reviews but we were not dissapointed with what we got apart from the night entertainment which was very poor mostly done by the on site entertainers, Also there is no TVs in the rooms these can be hired for an additional charge and the same goes for the wifi a bit of a let down when kids stay in the room on a night with nothing to do. The large pool was very cold and it is a salt water pool bearing in mind we went in october but the weather was still hot. The food was quite nice but i think there should be a better choice for kids meals. The free train was a great help but it finishes quite early in the day although it is only a 20 mins walk but those with small children would find it hard. But apart from this it was okay and we have booked to go again next year

Got the resort mid morning, so did not expect to get sun beds on first day. signs in place advising that you cannot reserve sun beds. Got to poolside on second day at 10ish. many sun beds not being used but were covered with towels. Third day got to pool before 9 - still towels on beds. Raised issue with Thomas Cook rep who advised it was a hotel issue. Got up at 6 .45 next morning just to go for a walk - you guessed it - sun beds covered with towels. I get up at 6.30 a.m. when I go to work, on holiday I would not expect to have to get up this early to have a relaxing time by the pool. Decided for rest of holiday to spend time in the main SA Coma resort.
My son cut his to on a sharp edge on the pool side on first day. We were lucky as others had much worse cuts one that required stiches.
Asked when booking, for a room with air con, on arrival was told I could hire one at a significant extra cost. Surprised also that I would have to pay extra to hire a TV for our family room.
The train / trailer was very convenient to take us to the resort. centre.
On the reurn flight we were told that Thomas Cook reps would be handing out holiday survey questionaires that would be entered into a prize draw. Didn't see one being handed out!
Sa Coma - lovely resort, but disappointed with several issues at Hi Bouganvilla Park. I don't normally complain, but when this e-mail came I felt I had to respond. Had many Thomas Cook breaks, but this one was rather dissapointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TheRotisserators good basic sunny holiday!
Don't understand previous negative reviews. No you don't get 5 star food, drink, and accomodation but you're not paying for that. The pool is fab and very clean. The place was well looked after with staff out cleaning up all the time. The food was a plentyful buffet, always well cooked and hot. Lots of bread, salad and fruit available too. The road train was a great benefit though we walked a few times out of choice, only takes about 15 min as long as you aren't carrying all your beach stuff and the weather is not too hot. The luggage and courtesy rooms were a great help and kept lovely and clean.
We tried the entertainment nearly every night but found it pretty poor though one was good because an off site act came in.
The desserts in the buffet were a let down but we lived without them.
The mezzanine in the restaurant was closed a number of times which made it very difficult to find a table as it was quite a busy time for end of season.
Don't go on the free excursion unless you want a new mattress and the Inca market was a bit pricey considering Sa Coma has it's own market every Wed evening.
Overall my daughter (21) and I had a fabulous relaxing time and would go again

I really hesitated to book this holiday, given the trip advisor reports but it was one of the best holidays i have ever had. Why? There's no pretense, its 3*, so settling my expectations at 2* i was never disappointed. Lots of pools, some shallow, small and quiet, ideal for a toddler. We never did the evening entertainment, it was just me and the toddler, but while she slept, i sat outside in the warm eves, read and relaxed. While the decor may be a bit dated the basics are right - The walls are thick, never heard our neighbours and they say they never heard us, which is a relief as my toddler had a couple of melt downs.
In a few words i would describe it as easy, lots of fun, three playparks on site were great, i did hire a bike 2 hours for 3 euros on site, and with a seat on back for the babe, we took long off road flat cycles along the coast. The beach is an easy km or the hotel train makes it easy. we self catered, there is a small shop on site for wine, beer and cornflakes but not much fresh and a huge supermarket 10min walk. We ate out, avoided the beans and pizza, there are a few options for platters of fresh grilled fish etc, and an everning market. There is a mini ranch intown where we just stroked the ponies which was all that we were ready for. Go, its so relaxing. A total change from the more lux holidays i used to have but a kids heaven is a parents relaxing place too.

The only bug bare was having to get up at 0515 to reserve a sunbed as by 0800 there were none left and as a mum with a young child who wants to go in the water all the time the need to have something near the pool was essential. We were self catering the accomodation was basic but ok.
